i had a cold chill and a shiver vibrate down my spine reading this article.. but, i just don't know why ?

there are certain words i have taken the liberty to highlight below, each of them caused a {{{{{{shiver}}}}}}.. somebody help me out...what is that gives me this 'deja vu' feeling ?.

I've just had a quick flick thru this thread and may have missed something.
I read that his bloke announced his conversion to Christianity to everyone but no-one took any action. He was so frustrated that he couldn't become a martyr he presented himself at the local police station and did the same. The cops were forced to act.
This dick-head is just a joke. He's getting his 15 minutes of fame.
There's no way he will ever be executed. But he will earn heaps on the speech circuits around the world for years. (yawn)

Hi LDH...It was on TV a couple of nights ago but I didn't watch it. Played Sudoko instead. (Do they have that in the States?)
I read so many critical reviews of the film. Some praising it and others deploring it. I have a bit of knowledge of the issues from personal experience - from both sides of the fence.
I prefer to have the attitude that we can't change the past and I know that modern day Australian citizens would never contemplate acting that way towards each other again.
The early colonial settlers did treat the original inhabitants as animals. They weren't even included in the census until the early '60s. Massacers and poisonings were rife.
But the missions did save the lives of many half-caste children who were spurned by their people.

It appears that someone has (rightfully) deleted the pic of the two fat naked old guys asleep in each others arms on the lounge.
Man... I am permanently scarred, and scared, by that image. But I had to come back for another peek. Thankfully it was gone.
Ballsistic..I can't stop chortling about the radio station in Cork. So good.

I forgot about Matilda. A beautiful little Jersey heifer (moo cow). Often times I would lie with my head on her stomach (and a beer on mine) and just stare at the stars. She was soft and warm and had beautiful big brown eyes.
