the seven year itch
by Crumpet inex -mr crumpet and i after just shy of 8 years together have found we are arguing more and more and have decided to split up.
since we made the decision on monday this week we have been getting on like a house on fire.
the arguments have stopped, he is on time for all his appointments to meet, which hasn't happened in years, he phones if he's going to be late and i have stopped being a moody cow and drinking all his wine without permission.. the hope is that we will get back together and find eahc other attractive again after a break from one another.

I just signed up for a bible study...need help!
by lucifer inokay i found the official website for jw's and there was a place you could sign up for a free book study, so i did.
now i'm not sure if they will actually contact me once they see its me.
i'm doing this because when i da'd my mom wrote the letter and i didn't care/know about all their lies, i really hate that i wasted 8 years in this cult and want the elders in the congregation to explain big time!

Okay I found the official website for JW's and there was a place you could sign up for a free book study, so I did. Now I'm not sure if they will actually contact me once they see its me, what I need help with is what to say exactly, I am going to nail them with questions about the UN and blood issues and the 1914 dates, but I don't know how to go about this.

Quick Way To Shoo Away JWs
by Bstndance inso last weekend i'm heading out of my apartment for a lunch date.
as i am walking down the sidewalk to my car, two men in suits with bookbags walking towards me try to start a conversation by saying "excuse me" with big smiles.
i just walked by them and said "i'm an apostate".

Ever meet someone in the field service who knew their bible better than you

once a brother told me that he knocked at a door, and it was a catholic priest who lived there, and that brother thought that he knew his bible better than that priest, so he showed him a couple of verses to prove that the jw's had the truth, but that brother didn't expect the priest to know his bible that well, and the brother didn't win his biblical debate.... wouldn't it be fun if more people knew their bible really well, and could use the bible to make the jw's go away... .
gee, i hated that when i knocked at a door, and the person would go get their bible, and i saw that they had a decent knowledge of it... usually i left quite fast.

Ever get anonymous mail from JWs?
by kristyann inone of my boyfriend's friends gets mail every once in awhile, and it is anonymous... it's usually a watchtower or awake!
sent in a big envelope, and certain passages are highlighted.
for instance, when he stopped going out in field service, he got a watchtower with an article about the importance of dedicating one's life to the ministry highlighted, along with some of those articles where there is some person that is about 70 or 80 talking about how persecuted they were for the ministry but how happy they are that they got to share in spreading the good news about the kingdom or whatever.
