Nope, apparently talking to an imaginary friend is considered a sign of insanity

I have 2 that I've always wanted to do but never seem to have the opportunity.
1) Answer the door fully nude (prefereably aroused if possible), bong in hand and a pentagram (preferably in something resembling blood) painted on my chest. In an overly friendly/odd manner invite them in for a "ceremony" or say "I know you guys! My dad's an elder!!!".
2) Have someone else answer the door and give a standard "not interested" type response. If we get the overzealous "won't take 'no' for an answer" type, I hit the end of a chain dog style just at the edge of the door, snarling and foaming at the mouth (courtesy of Alkiseltzer).
More fantasy than anything I'll realistically do, but it's fun to dream

"Apostates " are sex degenerates.!!!!
by hamsterbait ini noted with anger the post about the dc where one of the speakers claimed that people who become apostate are involved in immoral conduct of some kind.. this goes down in the same list of stupidity as the statement that "apostates claim to have greater wisdom than the faithful and discreet slave" - as v pointed out they do not claim greater wisdumb, they simply disagree.. i began doubting and questioning not only after finding out about how the witchtower had lied about carbon dating, but their lies about the creative days, finding out how chinas written history goes back to before the flood, yet never mentions how the chinese were all drowned - and how the wt lies and misrepresents "evidence" for their assertions.. excuse me witchtower - but my genitals had nothing to do with seeing through the lies and deceit, and yes hypocrisy.. of course once started on that road i read more and became less convinced than ever of their claims to be gods only channel.. maybe soon i shall get the chance to become a moral degenerate, than it will prove everthing the borg claims about people like us to be true.. in the meantime stop slinging mud and insulting my integrity.. hb.

<--- Happy Apostate Sexual Degenerate
It had nothing to do with my leaving the borg, but I have definitely explored my freedoms since leaving

Dave, If you've used a boil type process with standard equipment (I used the term kits incorrectly earlier) I don't think you'll be stoked on the Mr Beer setup. The results I've sampled from Mr Beer haven't been too impressive, but the persons involved weren't too impressive either
Regarding LHBS (Local Home Brew Suppliers) and clubs, the two are generally not realted (at least not here). The LHBS will be able to provide good basics and coaching to get you started. That way you can prepare a couple of batches your own way. After that if you'd like to get more into it, I'd consider a club. Personally, I used to be active with PDX Brewers here in Portland and found the variety of approaches and experience levels to be helpful in developing my own home brewery (don't mention "home brewery" to your significant other until their hooked on your homebrew ). I'm still involved to an extent though I haven't brewed much of late. I'm still working my way thru some mead and Russian Imperial Stout I brewed on 6/6/6.

What is your comfort food?
by compound complex indear fellow gourmands,.
i have completed the polishing off of a sizeable portion of fettuccine, smothered with an ordinary tomato sauce including ground beef, lottsa herbs, extra virgin olive oil and topped with grated romano and chopped italian parsely.. therefore, i am in a state complete and utter satisfaction.
what foods - dishes - feed your soul as well as your belly?.

Cheese in general for "comfort food" as far as "happy medicine" (ie, mourning a death etc) it's Scotch!

Do a fun run with the Mr Beer kit to get the idea, then get something like the stuff below from your local homebrew supplier or an online vendor (ie Williams Brewing). The Mr Beer kits are a good starter but somewhat restrictive as to your ability to get creative. Another good resource is BYO (Brew Your Own Magazine), good tips, tricks and recipes. http://byo.com/

Target practice! I can't believe I forgot target practice! It amazing what firearms will do to paper products
When Thomschat was up we had ourselves a little hillbilly apostafest and posted the pics there. Lowkey Lowsmith had decide it was time to retire his personal copy of the NWT. After a few 12ga shotgun blasts and 1 shot from a .300 Winchester Mag (plus a few .38 Special slugs I contributed) it was pretty well finished
