Street Witnessing in Conyers, GA (rather long, but IMO cool experience)
by AuldSoul inthis is a long experience, i am trying to get it down while still fresh in mind.
my hope is that some might be aided in their approach to jws by reading this, but i dunno.
read if you want to, don't read if you don't want to, and that way you'll have no business being annoyed by my having posted it.

Tabernacle (Booth) of David
by AuldSoul indedication: for a very dear friend who is laboring hard for vain riches .
i have run across a nugget that i am still researching out, but it is a very comforting little slice of scriptural reasoning for me.acts 15:12-21. at that the entire multitude became silent, and they began to listen to barnabas and paul relate the many signs and portents that god did through them among the nations.
after they quit speaking, james answered, saying: men, brothers, hear me.

I ran into a JW...
by AuldSoul inso, with my current job i am frequently in different towns all over the state of georgia.
at a klassix burger joint in donalsonville, ga many miles from my home, i saw a jw i recognized from conventions, etc.. i have always been one to strike up conversations with everyone standing nearby (much to my wife's discomfiture, but she wasn't around to shame me) so i said, "don't i know you?".

My DF'd brother will never go back!
by AuldSoul insome years ago my brother was disfellowshipped.
not for apostasy, but for more mundane reasons.
he has not had the internet, he has not studied the bible much since being disfellowshipped, he has been feeling guilty and considering returning for the last six months.. i had no way of contacting him, having lost touch in the midst of his many moves.

thirdwitnessCan you Scripturally support JW dogma?
by AuldSoul inthirdwitness,.
my father, who sat on his first judicial committee when he was 17 and has been and "elder" ever since, couldn't provide scriptures to support some very basic teachings of jehovah's witnesses.
our current circuit overseer could not either.

Is the Adda-Guppi Stele a "pseudo-biography"?
by AuldSoul ini have been unable to find anything to suggest this was anything other than direct dictation by the queen mother, herself.
if this was direct dictation, it would be an autobiography, not a pseudo-biography.. i would like to know what source someone might have used to come to the conclusion that the two copies of nabon h1, a & b are a pseudo-biography.
someone stated this as fact in an email to me, but the statement (in classic jw fashion) was without any source.. thank you in advance for your help.. respectfully,.

all grammatical errors were in the original.. brandon.

2 Chron. 36:21 "...until the land had paid off its sabbaths." 50 years?
by AuldSoul inwhat does this expression mean?
it certainly conveys the idea that the land owed a debt.
how could the passage of sabbaths pay off a debt?.
