  as most of you know i am new to the world of the internet.

  Marijuana...should it be legalised?

  after talkin in chat tonight....it has got me and a friend talkin about whether marijuana should be legalised.. my view...yes, .

  i) who has the right to tell me what to do with my own body?.

  ii) alcohol is a legalised drug....each year more deaths occur through alcohol abuse than marijuana usage.. iii) people smoke it anyway and the question is not bein addressed.. iv) it's great to get stoned!!!

  Abaddon, excellent and balanced points you made! I grew up in an italian family, alcohol is no big eal. If i wanted I could have had wine with dinner at any age! There are no alcoholics in my family.

  i have two questions, mostly for commited christians, though i'm sure somehow, that others will reply too.. 1) does prayer change god or his mind?.

  2) if not, why pray?.

  i have my own opinion on the subject, but i may be adjusting my understanding of god.. have fun!.

  I think alcohol is very dangerous, I dont smoke pot but if I liked it I would. I happen to not like it at all. But most people I am close to smoke. I think it should be legal. I manage a head shop, we sell bongs, rolling papers, color changing glass pipes. And I would much reather deal with pot smokers than drunks!

  new, nowhere to turn, ashamed & afraid

  hullo everybody i'm new here, even though i've been lurking now for several months.. i have to say how afraid i am to post, afraid and ashamed but i feel if i dont tell my story, i honestly dont know what may happen to me or my children if they lose me, right now i feel like i've got nowhere left to turn and have my doubts about this place as well.. i know my story will shock you but i cant keep it in any longer.

  i am recently disfellowshipped for immorality, the subject of a kingdom hall witch -hunt and subsequent congregational humiliation, .

  during the process of the judicial committee meetings and proceedings no consideration was given to my real human circumstances nor to the spirit of survival nor human nature nor that of a mother seeking to protect her children from lack of basic fundamentals such as food, shelter and clothing.
