bob tillich, the church's pastor of 12 years, was arrested on suspicion of boring as many as 23 children within the congregation.

reader joe ridgel sends me this hypothetical exchange, which i'd not seen before, between one (c) who argues that the accounts in the bible prove christian claims to be true, and another (d) who disputes that premise.

My new keychain has arrived
by ChuckD ini received my new "no blood" keychain from the fine folks at circuit leasing today.
i must say that they put together a very professional looking mailing, with some nice materials.
an interesting touch; the letter accompanying the keychain was signed "your brothers.

Blood Show on Discovery Channel
by ChuckD indid anyone happen to catch the show on the cable tv discovery health channel this past weekend about blood?
i tuned in mid-way through it, just in time to see them covering bloodless surgery planned for a jw woman.
the patient was a very heavy, diabetic woman who needed heart surgery.. what i found interesting was that the patient refered to herself as a "jehovah witness" (sic) while the narrator of the program used the correct pronounciation.
