Kevin Smith, Prince, and the JW's...
by avishai inin the two kevin smith spoken word videos, he tells a story about how he goes out to paisley park (prince's studio's) and basically ends up filming a documentary on prince's new album, the jw's, etc.
in the second spoken word film, he talks about how prince wanted to use the footage as a jw recruitment film.
now, smith is the director of clerks, mallrats, dogma, great dirctor, but dirty, dirty films, and dogma is one of the best indictments of religion i've ever seen.

Your most memorable Kingdom Hall meeting disruptions!

the schools were downstairs, essentially separated from the rest of the kh.
they weren't just happened upon, though.

One Sunday a young pioneer Sister left the WT study early and as she pull out of the parking lot she got into a huge, and I mean huge car accident!!! About six cars where involved! the funny part was, she was only 18 years old and after meeting as everybody was stuck at the KH as the police and tow-truck came to clean up the mess, the trunk of her car opened and she had a ton of beer!!!!!!
Another time a Sister was walking off stage after her talk and she took an ugly fall!!!! blood everywhere, she cut her lip and busted her noise.

Hubby s/w Mr. Flipper on the phone last night for about 1 1/2
by cognac inmr. flipper told him all this stuff about the whole pedophilia/ 1975 debacle, everything.
they talked for sooooo long... hubby really listened.. it started when i called them to talk about how to handle the elders.
then, i thought, hubby should know who i'm talking to.

I worked at Farmer John for a while while I was going to college. The slaughter house or the process did not bother me at all. The smell of pork is what bothered me. I did not eat pork for about four years not cause of how they where killed but i could not stand the smell.

It is official. I am an elder now!

i got early to the kh and the boe came to talk to me.
they ask me to read the bible and asked me a couple of questions.

ootb: Plese be carfeul, your family may become more emotionally invested now that you are an elder and that "escape" may be harder. Remenber, there is more gossip and rumors is an elder leaves vs. a lazy publisher. Best wished on your course.

Were You Ever Counseled Because Of What You Wore (or didn't)?

I got lectured twice, once for waering a sport coat and not a suit to give a talk and for wearing a "loud" tie on stage. BIg f-ing deal. I was at meeting and all they cared about was what i was wearing. I also got spoken to once that my hair was too-short. I expalined to the Elder that i had a cut on my head and hand to shave my head in order to apply medicine. He didn't care. Typical a**holes.

What's the lowest meeting attendance you've ever seen?
by Open mind ini'm talking about congos with at least 40-50 publishers in the file.
we had a nearby congo that supposedly had 60-65 publishers and their attendance on one tms/sm night hit an all-time low of 14. they had a ton of elderly/infirm.
they finally merged and now everybody's happy about the "increase".

2 people! Myself and some guy that was DF. We where at the KH for bookstudy and i was conducting. I said opening and closing prayer, read all the pharagrahs, and answered the quetions. It was so funny but I felt i saw awesome!!!!!!!! Later that night i got drunk with the guy's son!!!!!

which i don't care for, but since my family is stuck in this cult, i guess i can use the new position to help them see that the holy spirit has nothing to do with me being an elder.

I was an MS forever and asked to be an elder i beleive three times and said no each time. I used to come up with some BS. Any ways i quit on the WTS a long time ago and the holy spirit never told anybody to remove me as an MS. It appears your current habits are no different from many elders i currently know.
