  Walmart Wine venture

  wal-mart announced that, sometime in 2007, it will begin offering customers a new discount item ---- wal-mart's own brand of wine.

  the world's largest retail chain is teaming up with ernest & julio gallo winery of california to produce the spirits at an affordable price, in the $2 - $5 range.

  wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to put a bottle of wal-mart brand into their shopping carts, but "there is a market for inexpensive wine," said kathy micken, professor of marketing at university of arkansas, bentonville.

  i have many hopes for this post.

  ideally, it will be an eloquent explanation of my actions, more for myself than anyone else.

  also, i hope that there are tons of others out there who have, or have had similar feelings and experiences who can contribute insight to the discussion.. as a witness, my mind was relatively closed.

  I also compartmentalize my emotions. For me it's a survival instinct, I don't trust people. I don't like to be hurt, and I have learned to be alone and happy. If not for my wife, I'd only come out of my house for beer, video games, food, and the occasional trip to the great outdoors, where hopefully I'd be alone.

  No DC next year, last DC?

  a relative said there may not be dcs next year.

  he said on the last day of this year's dc when the final speaker goes through all the reports & experiences, the speaker said next year's dc have not been planned yet and the gb will make an announcement later this year.

  did anyone else hear a similar announcement?

  Is the WTS becoming more like Ancient Israel?

  I've thought this for a long time. The WTS likes to claim to be "Christian" but, every time they need support for one of the ridiculous organizational rules they dip into the Old Testament to find support. When was the last DC drama based on anything from the New Testament?

  My favorite was last years drama, when attendance at conventions was compared to the ancient festivals and pilgrimages of the Israelites.

  i read here that jws were told in the km that they shouldn't wear jeans, t-shirts or shorts out after the convention or even in the loby of their hotel.

  well, i am just curious to see what everyone else who still goes to meetings observed.

  if you wore jeans, t-shirts or shorts, did someone say anything to you about it?

  Small dog Owners, best breed?

  my mom is slowly losing her old cat and her heart is breaking.

  We have a long haired chihuahua and love her to pieces. Out of three dogs she is my favorite, it's really hard to explain to someone how cool chihuahua's are until they own one.
