  Big Announcement on next Service meeting

  there seems to be a very important announcement this coming weeking on the next service meeting, forme it will be on wednesday 30th jan.. during the last 2 meetings they have asked that every batized jw be at that meeting and even to tell others who might not have heard the annoucement.. anyone here have any ideas i wouldn't be surprised if they are changing meeting times and arrangments...less meeting at is !.

  ever have one of those really weird moments?

  part melancholy...fleeting and just weird.

  it's like certain uncontrollable elements come together to create an overwhelming sadness...or maybe it's just the caffeine.. so here i am sitting in a starbucks, in one of the comfy seats...been here since opening at 6am...when all of sudden i'm reading the post by uzzah, listening to the starbucks channel play georgia on my mind by ray charles...followed by i left my heart in san francisco...fighting back tears to no avail....and everything around me is hazy.

  OPINION POLL: Dressing Up. Yay? Neutral? Yuck?

  something was wrapped around my neck at birth and it wasn't the umbilical cord.

  it was a neck tie!.

  because dressing up in a nice suit, good quality dress shirt (i own one), $50-$75 neck tie (my wife has purchased a couple for me that were in this price range.

  ..........perhaps guilt by association ?....most people on this board are only concerned with 'basic honesty' from people they share their emotions with.....some feel that 'basic honesty' wasn't practiced by the story tellers involved.....

  may you eventually find the happiness & acceptence that every good hearted, honest person deserves.......

  not only am i not a smoker, i have never even tried smoking of any kind (besides a weird .

  half hearted attempt at smoking blackberry tea from a homemade wooden pipe.

  friends of mine who smoke, besides the complicated layers of guilt, talk about a basic .

  .......15 years old when i smoked 1st cigarette...thought it was cool....this past july,2007 was in chicago for my job, smoking 2 packs a day. i got what i thought was a chest cold, kept getting worse, finally went to doctor who admitted me to the hospitol with double pneaumonia. spent 10 days in there. i haven't smoked since. quit cold turkey after 40 years of smoking. don't miss it to tell ya the truth....plus saving about $250 a month in cost of smokes.

  30 y/o Bros from TX move to FL, have a party with 16 y/o Sisters!

  we here in the fl panhandle were "blessed" to have some 25 ish y/o brothers from tx move here recently.

  they had the usual welcoming party two weeks ago, and all the young bros from mobile to fort waalton showed up to welcome them!

  the only thing was, there was no elder to supervise!
