i keep reading all these threads that talk about the jws knocking on their doors.
we live in southern california and there has not been a visit at door in well over a year.
my business is on the main drag and their has not been a visit there either.
I haven't seen a JW go from door to door since I was doing it myself - nearly 3 years ago. I've seen a few during the summer doing "street work", meaning they were walking along the sidewalk with magazines rolled up in their hands. I didn't see them actually approach anyone.
Bottom line - if you want watchtower magazines you need to go to the nearest Tim Hortons and approach anyone wearing a tie to ask for them.

Open-toed shoes with narley feet:corns
dry/flaky skin
dirt on skin or toenails
fungus
deformities that could/should have been covered by a different style shoe
...and the worst: toenails that are long or not well cared for

hello people! If you are going to expose your feet you need to do some basic grooming! Why do you think it is ok to go around showing nasty feet? Would you do that to your face?

i know people who don't say their real age, like take off 2 or 3 years.... my mom looks younger than her age, so she sometimes took off a few years.
gee, i'm just the opposite, i rather say my real age, and wait for a compliment saying "hey you look good for your age".

I'm honest about my age. Then I have people say to me, "Wow! I thought you were much older!!!"

for the last few days i've killed about six flies in my apartment.
not just regular flies, these are huge ass flies almost the size of bees!
i keep my trash can clean and the trash is picked up every other day.
You probably have something/someone dead nearby.

That reminds me of an apartment where I lived. In one corner of the apartment there always seemed to be a lot of flies coming in. They kept coming no matter what we did. One day I was sitting around after my knee surgery and the damn things kept landing on the TV screen which pissed me off to no end. I remembered this elastic gun I bought at a craft show, so I got it and a box of rubber bands. The thing held 12 rubber bands at a time, so every time a fly landed on the TV screen I'd shoot at him. I got pretty good at it, considering I was laid up for 3 months. My wife would get pissed at me when she'd get home from work to find fly guts smeared all over the TV screen.

I have enough trouble hoping in things I have some control over, never mind a paradise earth. And I have enough trouble living day to day with my memories, and I'm very, very tired. I can't imagine going on like that for eternity.

is it just me or is their a direct correllation between how deep someone is immersed in "da troof" and how much they are in anticipation of negative things happening to bolster the wt case of the end being so near?.
i've just got off the phone with my wife, for the fourth or fifth time today, hardly been able to get any work done, and i fear she's turning into a news-hound.
every conversation was about the latest developments of the hurricane in no, some volcano about to blow up and cause a tsunami capable of wiping out the eastern seaboard, and now it's the blackout in la and how it may be the work of al queda.. doesn anyone else with a jw so find it exhausting to listen to so much negativity?

since privacy is not exactly encouraged with the jw's, why dont you give all of us HER number and we can phone witness to her. see how they like it
