  this friend of mine that i have known since..birth ... doesn't go to meetings anymore.

  she hasn't for a while and the only problem she has is that she has no friends.

  she plays the lottery.. --oooohhhh-- and lets her kids attend b-day parties.

  i mentioned in casual convo about a message board where jws that are disappointed w/ treatment etc.. go and share experiences and support each other.

  he asks " i wonder really how many people there are out there that feel and think the way i do?

  JWs funerals.......forget about the dead person lets preach!

  god forbid you would talk about the person at his funeral............what do most people get after living 70-80 years..........a 5-10 minutes eulogy....................the transition statment is "let me tell you about what fred really believed in".............................45 minutes later.....that way the specker can count his time.. as we know people in the organization are unimportant living or dead.

  hi all ,got my copy today read 90 pages already ,so far very interesting and an eye opener rutherford comes across as a very dishonest man and a dictator.

  knorr comes across as very insecure.anyway back to it .have fun and i will let you know as i read more .dan

  he's an adult living in someone else's home.

  he should be on his best behavior since he's a guest.

  Who did you hang around with amongst the JW's in your congregation?

  i used to hang around with the marginal witnesses, the ones considered weak.

  those that missed meeetings occasionally, like me.. i used to go out in the service mostly with them and give them a lift to and from the hall.. it's as if i fit in better with more humble witnesses.. .

  I forgot to mention..My jw parents came and saw my xmas tree!!!!

  they had been asking to visit and usally i tried to visit with them enough before and after so that they wouldnt' feel a need to visit while the tree is up.

  they went to visit my brother and it went okay.

  even though my brother wasn't informed that my mom would be showing up too.
