I too hope the sacrifice is worth the gain.
Since I haven't followed the situation that closely I'm wondering if the plan is to eventually help family out, or is it simply to have family connections again?

Firstly , GUMBY CAN DO WHAT THE HELL HE LIKES AND THINKS IS BEST !
No rules here. I also attend often on a Sunday. It helps out my wife who is not the best of health , and it means we go on often for a little shopping and a lunch out. So it keeps us together on a Sunday.
Of course I dont participate . The elders take no notice of me . It must be easier for me because I never stopped going.

Falsify time service reports? Brilliant! I've done that! I padded my time reports every month just to keep the name pioneer. I felt so guilty doing it but felt they pushed me into it by the high hour requirement. I wonder if anyone else has done that.
