i ve tryed, but to make a long story short: i don t fit in to anything.. i can t get out of these bleeding depressions.
so i ll go out tonight for the last time in my life and take an overdose at the end.. its been nice meeting you all.

Did you see/know other people who left the Truth before YOU did?
by skeeter1 ini am wondering a few things.... when you were an active jw, did others in your congregation leave for true apostacy reasons and did you know?
when (year) did they and what year did you leave?.
how many people were in your congregation and how many left before you did (or you think left)?

yes, A fellow elder. He told me about Crises of Conscious, in the late 80,s.
At that time I tought he had lost it. Never forgot what he reveal to me.
In his case he did not leave, he was DF (adultery). So what he told me
did not register until years later.

Are most JW's window washers?

if most jw's are window washers, what other occupations are considered the type of jobs that a witless would have.

The question is why are so many Brothers window washers. 1975, many became
window washers because We thought it was the last days, and you only work
with other JW,s.

breakdown on janitorial services; Early 70,s I begain my service. Started out with the wife myself.
Within three months added two sisters( we specialize in housecleaning including windows.)
Believe it or not we did so well because we were JW,s. Remerber you are working in
people homes, they trust us. This was in the early 70,s, we charge $45.00-$55.00 A hr.0R PER HOME.
Three on A job, my wife would take one crew and I would take another one for the
day. We paid our people $5.00 A hr. within A year 10 houses A day.ONE
brother ( floors, windows etc.) and two sisters per crew. Very good money for the 70,s.

prior to 1975, the word was we must be close to the end. My ex mention this , have you
notice JW,s are not dying off at A rate as the world. And I thought about it and at the time and
there was no one personally we knew that had pass away in the years we became JW,s, but
that time only covered 4yrs. But after 1975 the numbers went up in deaths.

My Window cleaner is a JW!

very cheap and does his job well.. the other week though i heard him whistling.... at first i thought my mind was playing tricks but no... he was whistling kingdom melodies!.

xjw666; I learn from 1975. I became A prototype machinist for A airospace company.
Because the company I work for produce parts for the military I was criticize and
told , this is no place for A JW to work. Well I did not heed the warning. The end
result, I have retired and may add comfortablee. Some of those brothers that told
me to quit my job are still in the work force, no retirement ( men 60-80 yrs. of age).
So it work out fine for me.

WHAT IF YOU HAD NEVER LEFT !!!

when i think of my life now,a lovely kind beautiful wife, two happy healthy kids, good job, nice home, real friends.
yes since i left the jws almost twenty years ago i can honestly say i have lived my life.. when i eventually left the death by bordem cult ... i had nothing, a loveless marraige i only stayed in because of the jws, no friends, no home to call my own, in debt, i had a wife who was so depressed she shooped to make herself happy.

What comes to mine are memories; Childhood not as A JW, my early childhood in the south
right out of one of the characters of Huckleberry Fin, wonderful childhood. As a teenager
also not A JW again great time. A year in Nam not good but memories I will never forget. Early years
as A witnesses some good memories( get togathers, assemblies,friends before 1975).
After 1975 -1987 all bad times..Good times begain (after 1987), I was single and dated some really
nice ladies ( very good memories). Today I am still working on making good memories. So
in our twilight years my wife and I smile each morning at each other. And we say
what good memories will we make today. Because what it comes down too, when
you become old and can not get around anymore what do you have, memories.
As A agnostic I do not see me in here after. So if I end up in A nursing home or in some type
of retirement home I have my memories. So thankful I left if not no good memories.

Three years after becoming A JW I quit my salesman job(1973) the big one coming.
After 1 year I had two crews of JW,s working for me. Very lucrative business. A large
portion of my business was housecleaning. When I quit my job I was offered A promotion,
The regional rep ask me why since I was moving up in the company. I told him I need
more time for my ministry and can you believe this I told him it,s my job to warn people
of the pending destruction, ok it would have been best If I had stop there, no my stupid
ass continue with my all knowing knowledge of the world future. He told me It was great
having you work for us you nut case, well he did not say that but Iam sure he tought it.
So for two years or more I clean windows, scrub toilets and floors. The turning point came
when we had A new customer after two or three visits the young lady ask me what high school
did I attend, I told her and we both graduated from the same school the same year.
Now she and her husband are lawyers and I , well cleaning her toilet. My high school
class numbered 0ver 800 kids.

is there more women involved with the jw's than men
by not a jw ini keep seeing hints thrown around on this site that tends to say that they are more women involved in the jw's than men .is this true?.

I HAVE TOUGHT THE SAME REGARDING WOMEN, BUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CAN
NOT FIGURE OUT WHY MY GREAT GREAT GREATPARENTS EMBRACE THE RELIGION
OF THIS COUNTRY (US). Speaking as A black man, why would any one want to
part of A religion that teach, God,s law state that you A black man will be A
slave for your Brother, you good for nothing slave. What A con job. You
may be part of our religion but you are A cursed people. I might be
mistaking but the Catholic was one of the few religions that did not
teach this. And if more Blacks was aware of JW,s past teaching on
blacks , changing color in order to enter heaven, what the hell.
But at least blacks have moved up in the Bible, you women have
remain as second class in God,s view.
