around the late 70,s and early 80,s we had a lot of activities for the young. We even had a football team that played kingdom halls in los angels, it was organize. Basketball teams, beach parties, camping trips. We had alot of young people at that time . The CO got wind of all the activities and put a stop too all the above. And as the years pass so did the young people. One of the young men we took fishing with us was non other then Rodney King.

so i will explain some of my earlier experiences as a catholic and contrast them to the witness experience.. my family was active as a catholic when i was about 6 or so.
we had to salute the flag, and we got to play with other children and go on class trips that also made major markers in life.

I feel the word apostate is correct. We who have discovered the real truth are speaking out against their truths. I have never met someone that have found the real truth and went back. You have the ones who are in and out because thay never did the research. these are the ones that will defend the borg. , they will go back some day when he or she can get it togather. The lost souls, everything that go wrong in his life, it,s because he left the truth. These are the very unhappy ones. It,s very sad because they are the ones that have little knowledge of the faith they are trying too defend.

IF A person feel he or she have the answer to life mystery why are we here, then there is know need for further knowledge. You have the answer for everything we may encounter in life. How many of of us have realize we new nothing of the world . This make life a lot simpler, if you know everything.

A FEW YEARS AGO MY DAUGHTER CELEBRATED HER FIRST YEAR OF MARRAGE. SHE TOLD ME BEFORE SHE GOT MARRIED SHE WOULD NEVER MARRY A MAN THAT WOULD NOT RESPECT HER FATHER, WITNESS OR NOT. SO SHE MARRIED A BRO. SHE INSIST THAT I COME WITH MY NEW WIFE TOO HER CELEBRATION. I RELUCTANTLY AGREED. SHE TOLD ME DAD THE DINNER WILL BE A HOUR BEFORE YOU GET THERE. MY GUEST , MY BROTHER , HIS DAUGHTER HER HUSBAND, (NONE JW,S) MY SON HIS DATE SHE NEVER BEEN AROUND JW, MY OTHER SON AND HIS DATE , SHE NEVER BEEN AROUND JW. WELL WHEN WE GOT THERE FOOD HAD NOT BEEN SERVED. SO A FEW MINUTES AFTER WE ARRIVE, MY DAUGHTER CAME OVER WITH TEARS IN HER EYES AND TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE.THERE WERE OVER A 100 JW THERE. MY EX WIFE ,AND OTHER JW FAMILY MEMBERS. MY BROTHER ASK ME WHATS WRONG, I TOLD HIM. HE SAT BACK IN HIS SEAT AND LOOK AROUND A SAID ------YOU ALL. ALL MY GUESS STOOD UP LOOK AROUND AND WE ALL WALK OUT. AS WE WERE WALKING OUT SOME ONE CAME UP TO THE OTHER MEMBERS IN MY PARTY AND TOLD THEM THEY CAN STAY. THEY TOLD THEM IF HE CAN,T STAY THEN WE WILL NOT STAY. I FELT SORRY FOR MY DAUGHTER IT SHULD HAVE BEEN A HAPPY OCCASION.

here,s a thought. Make posters on every JW that have been convicted of child molestation. Place them in all the lundry mats, all the coffee shops and bus stops. In bold letters write attention too all JW,s and also the public if you have been molestated by any of these men ,please contect the authority.

a few months ago, my son-in-law stated if the WT was part of the UN it would shake his faith, it,s a lie, satan trying to mislead, you can not believe everything written
in news paper. That was around 10-11 months ago. I was told two weeks ago he no longer attend the meetings. It takes time if they still have a workable brain.

a few months ago, when a new month rolled around, i realized that i hadn't actually gone in service at all the previous month.

how many elders counting time and ms servents also ,talks given at the KH, talks at the assembly. Every time you gave a talk at the KH AND a NON JW was there you could count that time.So if you answer question at WT STUDY you could count that time.HELL if you were sleep and dream you was out in service count that time , well maybe that,s a little too much.

THE WTS: CRASH OR SLOWLY FADE AWAY?

i agree with those who say that anything barbara has scandalous about the early history of the witnesses, ie: russel or rutherford times, will have zero impact.
that whole era is pretty much dismissed by all witnesses i know.

how many out there has become more knowledgeable of the bible then you were as a JW.? I was a elder and just as others have mention my knowledge pathetic. A jw work at JPL here in Pasadena ca. We know the kind of intelligence that works there. This story was told in this area. The jw approach one of the individual that was working on one of the out of space program. The JW told him , it is very simple, all you need to do is read this WT and you will know all it is about space. The JW gave him the WT .The Jw that told me this story new the JW. He told me ,you see all the schooling those people receive to work at JPL is a waste time and money. We have the answer. A janitor working at JPL have the answer.

Over the past 15-20 yrs. a large number has left the org. Many families have someone in thier family that has seen the truth and moved on. The problem that the org. fell to see is, with so many out and others that has never been in org. see the love one receive when we leave. My family members who never became JW saw this and stop thier study with the JW real fast.If you ask someone ,what do you think about JW, and most people will say thay brake up families. The shunning policy will not bring in new people. Trust me the word is out how exmembers are loved when they leave.
