The ones here who have read the Bible several times, what

am I missing??? I assume it strengthen your faith, me it

made me an agnostic...Maybe my JW brother was right,

I don't have the right heart or mind to understand...

When I read the Bible I try not to find fault, but my damn

mind want let me...

Is new light coming again?

i just turned in my resignation letter to my congregation a few weeks ago.

last week, 2 elders called me to say they received my letter and would like to meet with me to discuss my concerns.

in my letter, i said i had found out about all the child abuse cases that were going on and that i didnt agree with their policy of disfellowshipping.

Crazyguy: Yes "Ron Hubbard". Why can't people see it. If

MR Hubbard had been alive doing that time, we would be

worshipping little green men today.....

The number one reason for the Bible, other cultures were

moving up in the world. Developing knowledge, arts, ideas, tools,

knowledge of the world we live in. The writers of the Bible were

sheep herdsman, they knew nothing about the world we live in.

To elevate their status among the other nations they came up with a

great scam, our God is the God of all, He knows all and we are

his people. He has given us special knowledge about everything on this earth, even

how we begain as humans... So take your art, knowledge, astronomers and

scientist and stick it where the sun don't shine.

We are A SPECIAL PEOPLE...

Most Bible translation render, "you must HATE your mother, father, brother

and sister if you want to be my disciples. There's a big difference between

greater love for me(Jesus) and hate...

Do you like the people in the Bible?

the society always speaks about all the wonderful people and characters in the bible.. they always too speak of many of them as being so humble, faithful, loyal, diligent, loving, kind, wise, merciful etc, and worthy of imitation.

also of how god blessed them followed by endless examples and reasons why we today should imitate them.. .

they also speak of how wonderful it would be to meet some of these people in the future 'new system' and have often depicted scenes where the the survivors of armageddon would be gathered around some ancient resurrected faithful asking them questions and listening to their stories of times past.
