Just a thought. But Christianity has been preaching and repreaching that Jesus will return for centuries and not slowed down that faith. So why would an break off of main stream Christianity be any different. Ever try to reason with a hardcore Christian about the flaws and serious topics that prove it is false? Were you successful? Then do not expect to be with 1914/2014. Ignorance knows many colors.

I grew up in Redding CA and Shasta Lake has had some bad years. I remember in 1977 we could nearly drive to the Pit River bridge from Jones Valley on the Lake bottom. What will end up happening, is that the town of Kennet will start to pop up again by the dam (which is the town under the lake). It will also become nearly a river and not a lake for the whole area. Some of those bays that offer house boat rentals are going to be a mess, as I do not think there will be enough lake to move out to. Mount Shasta hardly has any white on it right now, looks like it normally looks in June. I read online the other day that some towns in California will run out of water this year, not cutting back, we are talking a complete run out of water. I live in Oregon now, we are really worried about wild fires and not looking forward to all the smoke.
Oh, and the Kingdom Hall I went to was the one on Bichilli Lane that looks like a Swiss Alps home.

by jeremiah18:5-10 inhypothetically speaking, if you are dfd and witnesses call at your home and you give a warm reception and in the course of discussion tell them you had just been praying to jehovah to help you get back on track with him, would they go full force at helping you get back in, even fast tracking it?.
as with many who are dfd with family still in, at time i entertain the notion of returning just to get my family back.. so what do you think about this scenario, would it help or hurt?.
i ask because of how enamored they are with the idea that angels guide their efforts in service and lead them to the sheep.

DC-i miss the good old days when everybody had sunday and thurdsday mtg.. (hotel issues)
by ?me? init seems that the poor congregations with thursday or even friday meeting are getting screwed out of any decent hotels near the dc venue.
all those were gone within a couple of hours.
the tuesday meetings took all the great hotels while the others get the nice suburb hotels 15-30 miles away.

I think it was common to have information out early, even when I was in, and I left in the 1990s. I know I stayed in some shit holes a couple times, but my favorite was Reno and staying hotels not on the list and gambling late in to th evening. Knowing, if you were a good Witness, you should not have been staying here to catch me.

Predictions 2014

normally it pisses off a couple posters, which creates a single tear down one cheek, but over all i am sometimes shocked that some are not completely inaccurate.
