by flipper inwe always know when the gb or wt leaders are nervous and worried about potential alleged " threats " to jehovah's witnesses - because they repetitively keep mentioning these perceived " threats " in talks at assemblies or in wt articles constantly.. the " witness only " august 15th wt is no different.
in a non-study article entitled " the internet - making wise use of a global tool " once again the wt society instills doubt and fear into witnesses by " warning " them about use of the internet.
3 " while the internet can provide valuable information, save us time, and serve a useful function, it can also misinform us, consune an inordinate amount of our time, and corrupt us morally.

MY JW DAD HAS CUT US OFF! WE ARE DEAD !

we have 4 kids, he ain't going to see them before the grim reaper comes lookin for him.
my job skills are well in demand in alberta canada so that's our next move, we are getting out of the uk sinking ship asap, we have family in alberta who will sponsor us so i think it's time to leave and make a new start for our kids, as their aren't no jobs in the uk for them now even with university qualifications behind them.

I am so hurt and angry
by Igot2bme inthis fake ass religion has costed me so much but now it has turned my son away from me.
i am so hurt, my heart is broke, and feel completly defeated.
he refuses to call me, blocked me on my facebook account, and went back to the people in the org who threw him under the bus, called him names, slandered him, stole from him and these were so called brothers and sisters!

Ziddina - I actually used that tactic myself many years ago on family and it worked. I mention the tongue and cheek part as I did not want to piss anyone off thinking I was wacky for mentioning the harsh reality... I was actually serious about using it, but everyone else had such better, fluffy, words of encouragement... :)
Hell, maybe call him up and talk to him about why he is pulling this attitude and then close the conversation at the end (if it does not work out good) that you are disfellowshipping him, and when he decides to return to the love of a mother he is more than welcome to do so, except during the interim you will not be treated like a door mat and he is dead in your eyes!!!!

Seriously though, disregarding my tongue and cheek post above, have you talked to him to see why he is acting the way that he is? Perhaps narrow him down to give a real, no excuse reason as to his actions. Leaving emotion out of the conversation, get him to reason LOGICALLY as to why he is acting a certain way.

Disfellowship him - ignore calls, visits, etc. It will be hard but he will get the message, especially when they dump on him again and he tries coming back to you.

Fokyc - thats the problem. Even if you save for retirement the nationalistic state can still 1) render your holdings worthless through fiat printing or 2) flat out take them as we have seen in Greece. Interesting times to be alive in. Hopefully it all turns out well...

The Most bizzare & Scariest thing happened to me last night
by dm6 inhello everybody.. i wanted to share something with you all about something that happened to me last night.. i usually get these things called sleep paralysis, which is where you are alseep and you wake up and you think, oh ill get up now or soemthing, so you go to get up and you cant.. your actually paralysed.
but the strange thign is your awake....?
its very very hard to explain.

Perhaps he fell asleep but did not realize it? When I have had them it is if life goes on as normal, smells, feelings, touch, etc, except they always go down the road of weird and then I start to freak out...

Maybe we are not the only ones out there... astral projection has many facets. The boogey man does not exist per se, but I believe other entities, energys, etc. exist in harmony with us, and may want to experience life through a "flesh bag"...
