  i hurts me alot that i have to say goodbye to all of you.

  whether or not i joined in a topic, you all (well, most) had a way of making me feel like part of the family here.

  I was going to keep the thread up until tonight, but wasn't sure I'd be home in time.

  Could you imagine what would happen if I DID ever go back? Smurfs would infest the KH, and weird things would probably happen at the elder's meeting. If they WERE ever to reinstate me, they'd go mute at the podium!

  Besides, I could never leave ya'll!!

  Early this morning, me and a friend went and dribbled ketchup from a friends bumper of his pickup. He got wasted last night. We made the outline of a body with chalk about a 100 feet away and dribbled ketchup to it. Then a cop friend of mine gave us some police tape that we strung around. Now that was priceless!!

  As I'm typing, my daughter is icing "brownies", that are really kitchen sponges. They are for her significant other and her granny.

  Damn, I'm good!

  i was a jw only for about ten years, but they covered my teens to mid-20s.

  i still have problems sorting out what i really think about life, religion, evolution and so on.

  i also feel i was completely robbed of my 'wild years' and have never really lived.

You have all made me laugh and made me cry. But, I can no longer associate with you. It is my prayer that everyone of you will find your way back to Jehovah, and the truth. I want to see each of you in the New System. It's not too late. Jehovah will accept all back. Sure the WBTS isn't perfect. But, they are the spokesman for Jehovah.   i need some input on how to proceed with a scheduled meeting with elders i haven't seen in 18mo.

  i have not attended a meeting in over 2yrs.

  they sent a letter requesting my presents at 8:00 pm tonight.

  What the others said is good> DENY DENY DENY! Tape record it and get a lawyer to be present if you can. Stall till you have more time for preparation.

  jw memorial is coming up, i told myself i'm not going this year, having a mother a couple brothers and two sisters still "in" all pressuring me to attend, saying things like "this may be the last memorial b4 the end", you've heard the spiel before.....crap like that is putting a lot a pressure on me this year, wish they would just stop it and worry about their own crappy lives!

  johnson and the panthers agreed to terms on a contract late thursday night after meeting for much of the day.

  i was just wondering how many of you might have joined the organization to placate family members .

  i can say as a teen i was baptized for the sole purpose of quieting my father .

  how about you did you do it for the fear of losing family members

  I got baptized at 16 to make my parents happy and get them off my back. But then I was DF'd a year later. I got reinstated 2 years later cause I missed my little brother and sisters SSOOO much. But that lasted only 3 months. Got DF'd again!!!
