I hate it when callers leave stupid nonessential messages; it's enough for me to just know they called by caller ID; if they leave messages like "just calling to say hi" and nothing else I have to go through all of them slowly and listen to them before I can just skip and delete them quickly (for now)- I dont know any other faster way to go through all of them on my cell phone as I have a new phone and haven't figured it out yet.

Ohio: Im happy for ya. I have only been to Dallas once but didn't stay very long; it was a short trip with a friend who use to live there; it was during Halloween last year, but from what I hear it sounds like a great place to visit again :)

If I knew then what I know now even as a vulnerable teenager when I got taken in by the organization I would never have become a witness after reading more of Rutherford's books and getting to know some of his history.

I thought it was a disfellowshipping offense even working in such an establishment, let alone actually going in and gambling.

Would you go back?
by Stress Free inwhen i was an active witness it was quite noticeable that when world shattering events took place, such as a disaster, tensions between major nations, war in iraq or events like that of 9/11 the meeting attendance would drastically improve.
this was mainly due to ones whom you rarely saw flocking back because they thought armageddon was coming.
what if this almost impossible scenario occurred.

"An old elder friend of mine told me that a CO told him after 9/11 the Kingdom Hall's were peppered with the old style pink songbooks."
LMAO!! I can only imagine people going back with those pink songbooks and probably a lot of green bibles to boot. Pink and green together

Do you know who you are?
by LouBelle inbeing a chubbier woman most of my days - i've only known who i am in this body.
i've now taken steps to reduce my size (i'm taking this seriously - i've decided to slim down & now "own" my number).
i've always been a confident person, regardless of being chubby.

One thing that will change is your selfconfidence; you will have achieved something that is difficult to do and that is always encouraging. Im working on my weight too; I started around the time jeaniebeans or somebody else started a thread about dieting. I dont always get the exercise I should but I have lost 10 pounds and holding (sometimes the scales will say I lost 12 or so) but anyway Im at a holding mark and plan on losing more; but I am doing it for me, which I think is hard for me to do; sometimes I think it would be easier if I was doing it for someone else, if that makes sense.

What's Your View of Spanking (Children)?
by minimus inhave you done it?
would you still?
is it ever acceptable?
-
littlerockguy
I was spanked when I was a kid growing up; didn't leave emotional scars and more thank likely I needed it; At least my parents did discipline me when I needed it instead of ignoring me if I done something I shouldn't have. However I dont believe it should be the only form of discipline. I believe in spankings and I dont care what that quack Benjamine Spock had to say about it.

Healthcare facilities have to abide by the anti-kickback law and since I work for a nonprofit medical group we cannot accepts gifts, however we can accept some other stuff like tons of post-it notes, pens, clocks, mouse pads, etc. as well as perishable stuff (food).
