  Which meetings did you hate the most?

  out of the 5 weekly meetings, here are the ones i hated the most.. in order.

  1. theocratic ministry school ( i hated speaking in public) got me so nervous.. 2. service meeting ( too much crap and statistics and presentations).

  3. the book study ( just a waist of time ).

  Ever go to a meeting DRUNK?

  a few years ago i was living with a buddy of mine here in downtown calgary.

  we were both inactive dubs but still half - assed on the fence.

  one night i came home from work and there was a slew of beer bottles all over the living room, and my buddy slouching on the couch in his suit and tie, beer in hand.

  I have gotten a little too carried away with some wine one day and didn't realize how much I had drank and went to the book study where a buddy sitting next to me on the couch whispered quietly that I smelled of alcohol- He knew, lol. I was sweating it through my skin. I was so embarrassed!

  Healthy snacks and getting buff

  first of wouldnt i look sexy being buff at height 5'2?

  when i live on campus im going to its rec center everyday if time permits.

  so i need a work out plan to get buff.

  Try mixed nuts; preferrably the mixed nuts without peanuts ( they are not really nuts but legumes) they have fat, but that suppresses the appetite between meals and they have protein. That is what I snack on and I am on a low carb diet and it works; I have lost over 10 pounds so far; and protein helps build muscle.

  Ouija boards Do you feel they are real or not?Any personal experiences?

  i've had several expereiences with ouija boards, some interesting, some disturbing, and as skeptical as i try to be i have to admit i have seen it personally say things and do things that i can not logically explain.

  some say its your sub-conscience, some say its spirits, others say its demons.

  i am just wondering if any of you have had experiences with the ouija board, what they were, and what you believe about them, supernatural or just another simple amusement?

  I have used one too and worked it with another person and it answered questions that neither of us knew the answer to but another person present knew and someone else to back the answer up; it freaked out a couple of people present. They got spooked and left. So there is something there mysterious; I dont know exactly what's behind it.

  Elder gives service for non-JW

  my cousin, a non-jw died last saturday of kidney cancer.

  although not a jw, his wife also a non jw asked an elder to do his service.

  this at the request of his jw mother, who by the way is very inactive.

  what songs do you want played at your funeral?

  yeah its morbid... but since we're not gonna live forever like we thought we might the first half or so of our lives, we're obviously gonna die someday.. and i dont want " keep your eyes on the prize " played at my funeral.. (keeping in mind that theres no one thats gonna claim my body to bury it anyway when the time comes).

  Alone...how I'm doing so far

  man, i didnt realize how hard this alone thing is.

  its not that i have to be or have nowhere to go, but since making a goal of staying alone (i.e.

  no serious exclusive relationships) for at least a year, its been a pita.

  I have been living by myself for a while now; since I have been pretty much alone or at least felt that way it doesnt bother me; I have friends and family within a phone call's reach so I really dont feel alone. In fact, Im glad I can shut them out once in a while, lol; good thing about living alone :)
