  WT and the UN........again

  i hate to be beating a dead horse, but i just took a good look at the timing of the guardian article and the date the jw's left the un as a ngo.

  i was blown away by it !!!

  the article came out on oct. 8, 2001....and the jw's wrote a letter to the un to terminate it's association with it on oct. 9..the very next day!!!!

The article came out on Oct. 8, 2001....and the JW's wrote a letter to the UN to terminate it's association with it on Oct. 9..the very next day!!!! They then spent the next few years trying to say it was for a library card. Like I said....I know the topic has been up a million times but this is the first time I looked at the actual dates. Unbelievable, just gave me new resolve.

  for me, it's mainly the money and the women, i suppose.. no, but seriously, i was thinking the other day about why i post here.

  in september it will be two years since i left the organization.

  i don't much care for doctrinal debates anymore, and i usually pass on threads that are concerned with he-said-she-said kind of stuff inside the organization.

  I have to agree with Elsewhere...I'm in a fade and this site has really helped me and really just opened my eyes. In time after my fade is complete I hope to help others escape.

  ive just left the jws well got dfed a month ago!

  but family want me back so im trying to prove to myself that it isnt true, top get the strength not to go back,i heard the 607 date may be false, can anyone show me about that, i know exactly what the jws say and cant believe the intial date is wrong, is it?

  WHAT?? Everything in Dubland hangs on 1914 which hangs on 607.....that is the whole foundation of what they believe.

  just talking to an elder i work with about the filibuster deal in the us senate.

  he told me that the republican's caving in to the democrats gives the dem.

  Now I have heard everything. Just talking to an Elder I work with about the filibuster deal in the US Senate. He told me that the Republican's caving in to the Democrats gives the Dem.'s more power now. Which is true. Then he said the Dem.'s in general love the UN and are for the most part against organized religion. This move to strengthen them makes it easier for them to start a war on religion bringing on the big "A". Has anyone else heard this? It seems they are trying to reach for anything!!

  but dammit, now it's in my head, and i just realized that it sounds kinda like the imperial march from star wars.

  I can't believe no one mentioned the "rowboat"!!! Drifting from the truth is like a man sitting in a rowboat that is drifting on the ocean, it drifts slowly without being noticed untill you are out of the sight of land (Borg).

  But someone did mention the worst one......5 meetings are like your 5 fingers on a hand...you need them all.....
