  Argument with my Child "Why did I stay in the Organization so long?" Anger and Bitter Feelings.

  last night my third oldest child wanted to know why we stayed in the organization so long.

  child is a third year college student enjoying all the classes this "wicked system" has to offer, the insatiable appetite for learning makes him want to argue and debate, i don't have the energy to debate because i don't feel good with all life has thrown our way.. .

  "the only reason i went to meetings so long was because grandma and grandpa needed somebody to take them to meetings and cobe aunt and uncle and secretary aunt and uncle refused to talk to grandma for years, otherwise i would have stopped attending the kingdom hall because the kids were assholes and i was always the one who had to make "first contact", "i was the one who had to go around and meet and greet newbies while the regular jw wall-flowers (calebs) ignored all the visitors and new persons visiting our kingdom hall.

  i received an email from a jw that got married, but the wife never had sex with him.

  they were together for a period of years.

  he told the elders, but they said there was nothing that could be done.

  I see smart elders asking their wives to take attendance.

  smart wives will delegate to their kids - wouldn't be surprised to see preprinted lists of group publishers and kids making ticks and crosses - great way to get them 'involved'

  I was on the scaffolding team in Scotland in the late 1980's early 1990's. I remember Elgin, Forres, Peterhead, Paisley (no windows) Perth and prolly a few others.

  The early ones (Elgin and Forres) had upwards of 1000 people on site - then it was tightened up to 'just' 300 or so.

  Peterhead was a bit of disaster as they had planned to crane into position these huge custom a-frames which were too heavy to be lifted - i think the build lasted 2 or 3 weekends in the end..

  it was shortly after that they insisted on standard designs.

  fewer new zealand citizens affiliated as jws in 2013 than in 1996: over 15 years of successive decreases.

  the first table shows the new zealand census from 1976 to 2013. typically, numbers of citizens affiliated with the witnesses are higher than the number of active publishers because it includes children and those who are affiliated with the witnesses but who may not be active publishers.. of note, more citizens were recorded as affiliated with the witnesses in 1996 (19,527) than in 2013 (17,931).

  the decline in numbers affiliating with the witnesses in new zealand started in 2001 and has continued across two further census reports - so this is not just a temporary blip.

  A11 - American girls - can be red hot with their perfect teeth and buff bodies, and yet....something missing. Scottish girls - oh yes. English girls - what can I say - I married one so that makes them sexiest for me :)

  A12 - Scottish girls will be sexier post-Independence but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen in my lifetime :-)

  A13 - smiddy - yes I get zero PM's and this is my solution.
