It's interesting you appeal to the authority of a book and blog* by a former 'NASA climatologist', whilst simultaneoulsy ignoring NASA's unambiguous acceptance of human caused climate change...

If Roy Spencer wasn't selling books and lobbying he might have more time to publish in peer-reviewed journals. Still, the existence of debunked opinions like those of Roy Spencer at least prove there is no 'follow the money' conspiracy amongst climate scientists.

It happens that he is in the 3% of climate scientists who do not accept what the the other 97% do - namely, we are are causing the climate to change.

I am curious as to what makes you qualified to accept a 3% minority view?

i tried to fix the hyperlink and was unable to do so - thanks cofty

the point is exiting JW's will start with Google, and Google shows high quality content thats been around for a while - its all very well trying to change the world with activism and facebook groups etc - but really - google.com is where its at...

and for most people - the best thing they can do is be honest with their real identity and put their story on a site like freeminds or jwfacts and just let the internet do the rest.

don't use JWN to promote shitty facebook groups that haven't got a clue about security, and please don't tell people to create fake accounts on facebook to use those shitty groups.

that's really poor advice.

Not sure what your point is - please elaborate.

Worst Ever Field Service Experiences

generally i found most people were pretty apathetic and often surprisingly tolerant , but we've all had some bad ones.

looking back , here were my worst couple of experiences - there probably were others but i've probably long forgotten them or blanked them off.. i was a kid of maybe 13 & it was bitterly cold & pouring with rain.

i was working alone in a middle class street near my school where i knew a lot of my school teachers lived & was scared stiff at every door half the time pretending to press bells , doing the fake knock etc.

I'd be about 17 and out with older brother (19) in service. Somewhat deranged woman invited us in for a chat. Locks door behind us. Two locks. Proceeds to keep us stuck to her sofa while she had her pyschotic episode which involved a lot of bulging eyeballs, yelling and kitchen knife waving...

We made our excuses after about 30 mins...
