I can't wait until I'm 40, the kids will be out of the house (or close to) and I'm going to travel! Kid's are friggin expensive, good thing I love em so much!
I figure if I start traveling the world at 40, that should give me another good 40 years to see everything. When I'm too old to be shlogging through jungles and climbing mountains they can wheel me onto a cruise ship. Preferrably one with cute waiters.

Wow... what a retarded reason. I would bet that there's more going on than that though. I just can't believe that's all there is to it. I sounds like there are two people in the relationship that are emotional bullies, for some reason they feel the need to control the others thought processes.

our dog , sparky, is lying right next to me.
he is a 12lb silky terrier- he looks like an overgrown yorkie .
I have four cats, needless to say I can't make a lap without a kitty jumping in it.
We also have a Chesapeake and a Whiteface Cockatiel, and probably after this summer will have bunnies and chickens. It'll be a zoo around here before too long.

The "following along with worldly fashions" line was what I got from my parents for having very plain, cheap clothes. A lot of clothes I had to wear were from garage sales, hand me downs from UNCLES and if I had to have something it was purchased at Kmart.
Ugh.
