by hamsterbait inthings like jesus going for a pee, someone splitting thier hose, cutting their finger, are never mentioned in the bible.. one argument is that these things were so commonplace that nobody even thought to mention them.. since there is a rant in the jewish law about men not being allowed to dress as a woman, one would think there might be one recorded instance.
after all they did a tale about the egyptian gathering wood on the sabbath.. does this mean that cross dressing was so common in bible times it didn't even rate a mention in the book?.

hi i have been doing some reasech in to the jehovahs witness since i started going out with my girlfriend her mom is a jehovahs witness and has told me a little about what ya'll believe and i thought some of it sounded a little off to what i believe so i have been studing sertain doctrins of the jehovahs witness such as the one about jesus not being god and this has upset me alittle that ya'll have so much disregard to who jesus really is so i found some prof that supports the believe that jesus is god and i would like to hear some fead back to what ya'll think thank you very much .

Problem I always had with the 3in1 was who was looking after the shop when him upstairs was down here doing his messiahing and woodwork? Again it strikes me as making things complicated just so all the faithful can go “ah we don't understand it it must be divine”.

by kid-A inwhat strikes me on this board is the number of adult converts that have left the borg, either fading out or getting df'd.
from my experience (i was born into it, 2nd generation, left before getting baptized) most of the faders or escapees were also like.
me, born into it, never really accepted it and just bowed out at the first opportunity.

I was born in and left at 16 as soon as the subject of baptism came up, in hindsight one of the best things I've ever done. There were certain things that didn't scan right for me but they were mostly with the bibble rather than the WTS. I'd like to say that I thought long and hard, did lots of study and asked elders probing questions but hamstrbait's got my number, bored and horny teenager.
