recently i asked a question within another's post on the meaning of "junior, senior" statements/levels.
the response i received within that post( and thank you ) was that it had to do with the "number of posts" one has/had made.

my next posting due early next week will deal with supposed violence and judgement in the old testament as many in this forum have stated that they can't understand the issue of violence as they see a god of violence portrayed in the old testament and can't reconcile him with a god of love.
i will endeavour to address this issue in some detail...thank you and god bless... can i ask a couple of things please, you might be able to help me make some sense of this.

Hi, got to go to work shortly, so will post again when i get chance, but just wanted to pick out these words. I left the church because I could not reconcile myself to the fact that for a few years of sin on this earth, I would be condemned to everlasting damnation. It scared the life out of me growing up, and that fear continued into adulthood. I truly believe in God, our creator of of everything that exists. but if I thought for one minute, that the church's view of hell as a place of eternal punishment was true, then I would never want to have anything to do with a creator who could send people to such a place. I couldnt do it, and Im human, so how could a loving God?

I just take the rankings as a bit of fun. when i first entered the board I skulled around for a couple of weeks (an apostate by night!). when i was finally brave enough to show my face, so to speak, it took many mistakes to get posts in the right place and work out how it all worked. i actually didnt know what all this junior, senior member meant, until i got to about 80 posts. I thought a Junior member was someone under 16 - durrrrr!
It was another poster, freedom frog who reached 100 posts, who alerted me to the fact that when i did i would become a JUNIOR MEMBER - not that it matters to me, just a bit of fun mind. since then ive been writing alot of drivel everyday, whilst booting the kids off the computor. sometimes hopefully, i write something useful.
so enjoy your time on the board. hope its as good for you as it is for me.

I think hes gone............all this talk of oral sex and masturbation! I thought by the way, that masturbation was wrong. at least the church taught me that, and the jws said oral sex was wrong - they have their similarities. something to do with the thought process during masturbation (So im told!!!!). Apparently! you cant really masturbate while thinking of good and wholesome things! (So im told!)

Holly, It's so good to see the change that's taken place within you since you first arrived such a short time ago. It's as though a light has suddenly turned on and with that light your doubts and concerns have vanished - refreshing. poppers
Hey Poppers, thank you for that. Its because Ive gained so much information in such a short time from this board - im truly staggered at the wealth of information, the warmth and the fun. I can ask any questions and get loads of replies. Its fantastic. and ive seen the other side of being involved with the jws. i was scared to look but once i did, a new world opened infront of me. Ive even learned how to copy and paste - aint that fab - computor course, by computor and some very intelligent people of course.

just found this site today and as well as being amused, concerned and shocked at some of the stuff i?ve found here, reading the bios and posts of other ex jw?s has in a way made me feel a little bit less alone in the world.
don?t get me wrong, i?m not an emotionally scared loner, it?s like i?ve finally found someone else to stand outside morning assemble with.
