I could humble myself and go back for Sunday meetings- my only requirement is a free luncheon smorgasbord afterwards- nothing cheap will do, so don't skip the chilled shrimp on the salad bar-- and mimosas/bloody marys for starters.

HI! im new here...
by outofthelionsden ini have been reading post on this forum for many months and i wanted to thank you all for all the great posts and comments that have really helped me get through this hard year of fading.
my husband and i where born in jdubs and almost 1 year ago we started to fade , now that we think about it has been a few years that we were suffering from cognitive dissonance without knowing it.
we feel that finally we have our life back , a life that is just starting.

it has been many months that they stopped talking to us and they even went to the extent to change there phone number so that I cannot contact them and this is from family that I talkted with daily.
That is no obstacle to communication! This is what you do- find a sympathetic neighbor or clergyman-
A-give them your message to the self-righteous JW family member- have them write it down-
B- have them go and ring their doorbell-" hello Mr and Mrs Kumquat, are you JWs? I have an important message from a family member"- -reads message-- - hands them the message- "I have an idea, why not give them your telephone number so I don't have to come back here again next week, that's what Jesus would do"
I doubt that it will take more than two doorbell rings to bring them around - I suggest they show up to ring the doorbell at 10:45pm.-

He is so used to being up to his neck in Watchtower sh#t he doesn't know what normal feels like.

by yadda yadda 2 inbillions of human beings right now are muslims, hindus, buddhists, etc, etc.
they do not know a jot about 'jehovah' or the 'watchtower bible & tract society of new york" etc etc.
what is going to happen to these billions of persons at armageddon?.

A good point, but it won't matter to a JW. They have bought into the WT brand of religion. hook, line and sinker. . Meaning, they won't die at Armageddon, unlike other 99.9% of the population and they will get to live forever on a paradise earth as perfect humans-- forever. That's really GOOD NEWS!! Cool, they get to cheat death twice!! What a great religion- and JWs don't easily give up that false WT promise.

she was told then about his behavior from the mother in law and then husband.

He took the little girl to McDonalds! He was comfortable enough to do that- took her out of the house and back- nobody notices diapers, then toddler clothes, then toys, then a bike in the yard? They are all lying about not knowing anything. The police are gathering facts- getting statments- pretty soon they will have the goods on them- the lies will come to the top. We haven't seen the bottom of this yet- or heard the testimony from the women.

Quick update on sharing TTATT with my friend
by Gojira_101 inyesterday morning i got a message from my friend, the one i shared ttatt with last week and she wanted to meet for coffee.
this is the story/friend i'm referring to http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/251494/1/ha-take-that-watchtower-one-less-borg-for-you.. i was really nervous because since our initial visit she had told me that two of her other jw friends wanted to talk to me.
after a little more prodding she admitted that her friends didn't accept what their own wt said about god's name and they wanted to talk to me to "bring me back to the truth.".

The problem is the JWs gang up on one person (you)- unless you have another ex-JW who can be on your team, the JWs will dance all around the issues and you won't be able to pin them down.

marrying younger spouses
by ssn587 inmy wife passed away 2 years ago we had been married over 30 years, i have since remarried and my new wife is younger than 3 of my children from my first marriage.
i just wondering if there are any more like me out there.
i stay in excellent shape for my age, work out almost daily eat good and have absolutely no medical problems or at least none i can do anything about, bad knees, but my vitals are excellent, and i am known as the teenage because of them when i have my yearly medical checkup.. so was wondering if there are others out there like me, and what some may think about it, just for the record i am extremely happy once again, and we have a 18 month boy who delights me, have a whole new outlook on fatherhood and child raising.

My suggestion, marry that much younger woman in the Philippines, but only if you can move there- no divorce allowed in the PI. Nursing home care is cheap, too, in case you need it and your young wife doesn't care for changing your diaper.
