  okay i'm still a newbie but i was quite surprised when reading some info of a statement about the 'end being fluid' and that .

  'present truth replaces past truth ,however present truth may be replaced by future truth'.

  cambridge dictionary definition on truth -the real facts about a situation, event or person.

  SELF ESTEEM in the organization

  did your self esteem increase or decrease after being in the organization for a while?

  when you're constantly being blasted 3 days a week at every meeting for not doing enough or for doing things that are "wrong" one's self esteem has to take a huge beating. That is why a lot of jw's are on med's or talk bad about other fellow jw's because they have such low self esteem.

  i must say the bible takes to prize, they are pretty creative, i mean a snake that is a devil talking to a naked woman trying to make her eat fruit, or how about a man who gets his strength through his hair (sampson i think) and an evil woman tricks him and cuts it off, anyone else feel like the bible is a good bedtime story, but now they left the borg find it hard to believe??

  one thing that always pissed me off was when "faithful wives" used to blame their "unbelieving husbands" for making them celebrate birthdays, exchange xmas gifts, go to "worldly" get togethers, play the lottery, etc.

  it is much different to be hypocritical then it is to be a practicer of hypocrisy - jw's as a religion are a very hypocritical religion - they practice hypocrisy to a level that most do not.

  a) you'll find no ash trays.

  b) no lottery tickets laying on the counter.

  c) a jw calendar in sight for everyone to see.

  a jw calendar with the fake time written in it. An open cheque book ready to make their large monthly donation ( out of guilt ). The daily text on the kitchen table. And a 4 door car in the garage.
