The constant "where have you been?", "you missed the last meeting, what's wrong?". Or that those in the cong think they own you. Like they think they have a right to know what you are doing everyday, like they have a right to know where you were if you missed a meeting or service. NO THEY DON'T!!!!

perhaps as a jw you experienced events in the ministry or elsewhere that convinced you that jehovah through the angels was directing you to people..or situations.....??.
like for instance, to the house of a suicidal man or to a person that was praying for someone to help them spiritually.... do you have any opinions about this?

I don't think I ever believed that, never seemed to make sense, not with billions of people suffering everyday, yet what they don't even know is that what they are relying on is two eggheads coming to their door offering a magazine on elevator saftey.

i came home today to find my wife crying whilst reading the 'when a loved one leaves jehovah' article.
its been a good few months now and i can appreciate how she feels.
but it just irritates me how my disagreeing with this religion has such a catastrophic effect on our everyday lives.
The wts must be one of the most unhealthiest things out there. It daily takes a toll emotionally and mentally for those who are in and obviously those who are out but still have contact.
It is emotional abuse and emotional blackmail at its finest form.

Almost everything lead to dissappointment in wt organization, that was just one of many. The fact there is no new system will be the biggest for all still in.
back when my sister and i were regular pioneers in the late 80's, there were many things that caught my ear.
i don't usually make an effort to remember them, but i did yesterday.. i was sitting at a red light yesterday.
i happened to look to the right and i saw a middle aged black man washing the windows at the strip mall......... ken and debbie mccarthy were two regular pioneers in our congregation.
It's people like LDH that make this world a disgusting place to live. Never define a person by the work he/she does. Instead of feeling sorry for that "window washer" a good and decent person would have thought nothing of what he was doing, no matter what age he was.
I actually feel quite sorry for you.
