Haha, hilarious. My friend and I always go grocery shopping together. We're two wild girls out of control.. We have gotten into this real bad habit of pretending to pick out nose every time we have to wait for a traffic light. The reactions of other drivers are often precious.

Yes, they can. I know many.
I was born with a severe deformation of my lower spine. The doctors agreed that I would never walk. I started walking at age 3. A blow to my spine from a car accident at age 10 put me in a wheelchair, but I walked again a year later. My entire life has been marked by a lot of pain, and there are many things I am unable to do. Yet, I worked as a juggler/magician in spite of the pain. When the pain gets tough, I wear a type of cast in which I can hardly move, but it doesn't prevent me from going to work in the morning and doing my job. What if the doctors had told my parents.. "your child will be born with a severe deformation of the spine, and she will never be able to walk"? What if they had opted for an abortion?

My favourite is the guy who can blow his nose by pinching 1 nostril and rendering the booger to the ground. Now that's talent.
Darn, I've tried that sooo many times, but somehow the booger always keeps just hanging there. Believe me, I've practiced! Is there a trick to it? Perhaps I can get good at it and surprise my co-workers, or even my fellows at the KH.

I work with mostly people of the male sex and there is a lot of spitting going on. A few years ago, I kept a 5 gallon pail at work, where people would throw the leftover vegetable peels in. I'd take it home at night and add it to my compost pile. Soon, the pail became one of the most favorite objects of my co-workers to spit in. I was extremely disgusted and never took vegetable scraps home again. Didn't even use my compost pile anymore after that, I just started a new one.

when i was a junior, my mother got angry that my limp hair would not curl like hers could.
A dear friend of mine is going bald, she is only 50. A few years ago, I decided to let my hair grow until it would be long enough so that I could have a wig made out of it, and I would give it to her as a present. My hair is currently so long, it comes below the back pockets of my jeans. A couple of months ago, I started looking into a place that would cut my hair and turn it into a wig. They sent me instructions on how to cut it and how to store it. At first, my friend was very excited about it. She'd look at my hair and say "Hey, 'my' hair looks beautiful today. However, when I was ready to cut it, she began to feel guilty about taking it (the wig - making place told me this might happen). I'm now stuck with hair that's way too long, and still trying to convince her that I don't mind giving it to her. I'm actually really looking forward to that haircut. Haven't had one in years, other than to trim the ends.

over the years i've learned to extract the good out of bad situations and it has given me a different perspective on life.
life is all about learning.
Having worked as a travelling juggler/magician, I used to live life to the fullest. I have seen more than half of the globe. Never wasted a minute. Some days I'd wake up without knowing in what country I would put my head to rest that night. Life was just one huge pile of adventure, each day held a different journey. My life changed through a quite unfortunate event in the autumn of 1994. Since that time I have existed, not lived. What keeps me going is the knowledge that I have done more in the earlier years of my life than most people will do in the embrace of an entire lifetime. Just recently I realized how much I have distanced myself emotionally from 'life', some people would seek relief in alcohol of drugs, but since I do neither, keeping an emotional distance from things is my own way of keeping myself sane under the circumstances. I exist, and I hope that some day I will live again, but things are not looking up. Yet, miracles do happen.
