  This has made me so angry.........................

  i was talking to my sister who has never been in the org, about a non witness aunt who has terminal cancer.

  she was telling me how my aunt was putting her affairs in order and wanted to start to organize her funeral.. apparently she wanted to have a service in the little church on the corner of her street, but said that if she did all the witnesses in the family wouldnt attend and because she desperately wants them there she has given up the idea and will go for something that wont offend their fragile sensibilities.. this just made me feel so mad.

  i always felt guilty, when people had to accommodate me because "my religion doesnt allow me to do that " or whatever i said.

  Yes!! I am with you on this.
  My wife has some non-witness relatives. Fantastic people who have had to live as outcast/black sheep until we defected. The always allow any JW relatives the opportunity to pray for their meals even in their home. They never question or challenge them, just respect them, but they never get it in return...respect that is.
  Now we get all these conversation about this call and that call and this person at the meeting and on and on. If I wanted to know, then I'd still be going!!!

  good morning and "happy saturday" everyone!!.

  i've noticed recently alot of discussion on b-days.

  i just posted this on another thread, but then thought it deserves its own thread so more may benefit by reading it.. some time ago my mom told me about a entire town that was murdered as a wedding presents by a pharoh for his daughter who married king solomon.

  Hey jwfacts.....if you went back? I get the point though. It would be the only way. Who can question it? There was a sister who claimed to be of the annointed that I remember. NO BODY believed her. She was so badly hurt by the whole denial thing that she fell away. I guess for everyone else that proved that she wasn't. She died sometime later. She is probably laughing at the all now!

  A friend asks about this person: Can you provide any further background information? Was he or had he ever served as an elder? Pioneer? Was he on the convention programs? With his expertise he was probably in with the CO and DO is that a correct assumption? Do you know any more about the victims? Were there any other children? Just some thoughts in thinking about this. Please PM's only...........read the posting rules.

  i had a very hard time accepting what i have learned about her.

  she has a gift she has kept from the world until she was in her 30's.

  Hi, I am fascinated about this gift...it is a gift. It does sound like an episode of the show "Medium" Alison DuBois. Have read her two books and it is something that happens. I have met a couple of people who have the gift. Can your wife hone in on what may happen to others if they ask her? I dont put much creed in the wt explaination. Does/did anyone else in her family have the ability, it tends to be handed down and stays with families?

  does anyone who was raised a jw and is now df'd of da'd celebrate all the holidays?

  i do, and for the first time in my entire life i'm actually having a blast and so are my children.

  at least my youngest child doesn't have to suffer the segregation all jw children surrender to due to the freakin' mind controlling gb and all there so called "god channeled" rules..
