Upon reflection, I see I hastily reacted to this and got it wrong. I read the FAQ and the GB is simply baldly and flagrantly lying out their pie-hole. Of course they interfere with the private choices of the mentally, emotionally, socio-economically, etc, infirm. A simpler explanation. Whew. The universe is complex but not thoroughly inexplicable.

Uh, this flips a hair trigger of mine. I don't know if there's an argumentum latinum pretensiosis for it.
"We do not interfere in the Christmas celebrations of others."
They are claiming a power or capacity or capability to do a thing about what people in the world are already doing, and have been doing, for centuries or decades, depending on the custom. This is consistent with their making themselves the center of the known universe and the center of time.
If a freshman science student were to test out this claim using metrics that quantify momentum transfer between the thermal exhalation of a JW at a door step with some panda cartoons on a beautiful snowy pre-Christmas winter day, and the motions of the householder as they wrap gifts, hang lights, etc, etc, that student would discover, separately and repeatably, in household after household, state after state, to at least the sixth sigma, that JWs do not possess, in the first place, the power or capacity or capability to "interfere in the Christmas celebrations of others", even if they were foaming at the mouth or slouching towards brains or titrating some mad test tubes to attempt to do so. Pretension to influence outside their cult. (Or, the mentally, emotionally, spiritually, psychically, ontologically, socio-economially infirm, which alas is a nontrivial %.)

This first moment I felt like I was really on the right track was when I started the physics degree and the first lab experiment was to drop a ball bearing over and over and record where in a circle it landed. This was Gaussian statistics, normal distribution, a bell curve. I was a freshman. The authority, in this one instance, had been correct. The authority, in this one instance, had been telling the truth. The Truth about the Truth of Gaussian statistics, normal distribution, or bell curve, was that it had been correct and true all along, and I could separately reproduce that fact, at will, day or night, January or Tuesday, wearing chartreuse or knit slippers, eating green ham or checking the mail. It was a fact that permeated the entire realm and reach of my senses, it lay beneath and behind my reality, it was a fact that didn't give a flying rat's ass if I knew it or not.
Later in that lab we tested that authoritarian assertion that gravity's acceleration is 9.8m/s/s.
