No. No specific examples but the origins of the Watchtower with Russell (one of the 13 illuminati bloodlines, possibly) and the masonic symbology and language of the early Watchtowers company have many similarities. The language of 'God's Kingdom' is Masonic in itself. In Masonic circles, 'God's Kingdom' is the United Kingdom. Interestingly enough Jehovah / Yahweh / Bel / Baal are / is the God of the Freemasons. They pray to Jehovah and his name is used in their ceremonies.

So, who is Jordan Maxwell?

Jordan Maxwell is considered to be the world's formost authority on ancient religion and the modern conspiracies. His work on the true meaning of symbold, logos and company insignias has also fascinated audiances around the world for years.

He grew up in a family that had high ranking insiders in international politics and religion, so was privy to behind the scenes information that few people could imagine during the time that he was growing up. This intrigued him, and set him off on a life time of investigation.

This book was written in 2000 and in it he tells that we would need world economic collapse to bring in the New World Order and that would happen next. Sure enough it began in 2007 and we are now falling down the hole / trap prepared for us.

He also believes he knows what 'they' are planning to do next. This is something so horrific to us all that at first we would not believe it is humanly possible. But I have my own suspicions on where we are headed.

ok...we had a couple over today for a bible study.

very interesting conversation and quite enlightening.

we really wanted to be able to discuss the fallacy of the society based on it's own history.. skipped the intro and dove directly in to their watchtower of jan 15/09, back page.

So if they are willing to admit that the 'truths' they told years ago, under Russell, Rutherford and knowr are NOT true, then how can they or anyone else be sure that they are not still telling 'untruths'.

Truth cannot change with time, only understanding and therefore they should stop procaliming to have the 'Truth' and admit they only have and opinion which could change.....at any moment.

i have a friend (non-jw) who's fallen for a girl who's no good.

she's very pretty, but has been coddled since she was an infant.

the girl is 25 years old and her mother still does all of her laundry, pays for her credit card, and comes over to clean her apartment periodically.

I think, from viewing current JWs and their continued obsession with 'living forever', that Jehovah's Witnesses are people who are in love with themselves and an idea that they are special, different, meant to live forever, and desperately wanting to believe the lie.

You cannot help people who WANT and NEED to believe a lie.

Is everyone sick of me and Cameo'd being "Armagedon Junkies"?

me and my friend cameo'd have a condition known as "armagedon junky".....we enjoy speculating on catastrophies ending the world...yes we are ex-witnesses with a problem, we love the thrill of doom.

it was taught to us as kids and we still do it now.. the last few months we brought you "yellowstone park is about to blow"......."foxnews = solar flare will end life"..."mass desease epidemics".....sorry my friend cameo but me and you need to check into a clinic to stop scaring people....but i have to say it was fun for some reason, the thought of throwing it out there to accidentally predict something apeals to me..

I love this thread and I love this topic.

I too have wondered if my fascination with Armageddon scenarios began as a dubbie child.

However, I have spent the last few years studying this subject and believe it is something that is drilled into the mass subconscious of the human race to KNOW that the End in one way or another is always just ahead of us! Basically, because it is true.

There is always a conspiracy evolving and always catastrophe on the horizon. Whether you can predict which one will hit first is the trick of prediction.

AT present, I am of the 'belief' that we are to have massive earth quakes, pole shift, earth shattering (literally) events as we enter the proximity of an incoming brown star which was announced to the world in 1982 and then conveniently never appeared on the news again. But I remember the original reports which is why I was not surprised when information on it resurfaced.

I am fascinated at the purpose of chemtrails and suspect they are there to drop genetically targeted illnesses to help deplete the human race......any time soon......of course.

Don't have an opinion on aliens.....at all!

But mention the JW concept of 'Armageddon' a 'just' war to destroy all non dubbies and I balk and sniff at anyone's stupidity at even commencing to follow such an outrageous path!

Either way, I am a true, dyed in the wool 'Armageddon Junkie' myself.

I take my hat off to you Witness 007 and Cameo-d because scratch the surface of any news story and you will find another story, and another story and the real story is the one that don't even dare tell you and that' s the one I really want to know about.

I KNOW global warming is total BS! I know climate change is 'normal' and it irritates me to hell to know that this is just some diverting government scam to steal our pennies before they finally kill us all with one virus or another.

As my husband always says: 'Stop posting on the damned internet because you know one day, they're going to come after YOU because YOU know (or think you know) too much!'

Indoctrination and mind control is the problem with the human mind. Unless someone has a really strong character or acute mental ability and intuition they are very easy to lead by the nose and believe in any religion that their parents, country, area etc believe.

What I find so fascinating, Cameo-d, is that these belief structures are just all from the same ship that has cast out its net on the unwary.

Certain key words, such Religion, Minister, Faith, Church, Truth, God, etc are used to immeadiately entrap and control. Much as the 144.000. and Melchizedek etc are key words to ensnare the minds of people who have some religious/ christianity based, knowledge.

Unless people understand that the 'fisherman' is one and the same, they cannot work out how to get out of the trap.
