this is a thread for anyone who attended the "big" generation watchtower study today to post their experiences/stories.. let's hear some wholesome, upbuilding encouragement from our brothers and sisters out there today!.
Most dubs don't understand the 'technicalities' of their faith hence it could be announced that black is white from the stage and they'd still nod encouragingly and smile.
Once you've given your brain and thinking capacity away, it is rare to get them back again...........sadly!
I look at my parents, having wasted their whole lives on this crap and realise they can't even think straight any more. They have no real free thought just a confused state of existence revolving around their next meal and their next meeting.
They could never grasp that there has been a 'generation change' and what the true meaning is of these perpetual flips and changes and understandings and misunderstandings.
As I said to them, surely if the Faithful and discreet slave is waiting for spirit direction, that is akin to spiritism and how do they know which spirits are directing them? But a glazed look appeared on their faces and I hadn't the heart to press the destruct button and continue.
But whatever makes them happy!

However, it is interesting that the boy's first, main and only concern was NOT the normal one of any kind of fear of death, but a freaked out fear of a blood transfusion that over rode the normal response.
He was more afraid of the consequences of taking blood - excommunication, being a second rate witness, losing his family etc than losing what was more important, his life.
Therefore, brainwashing was put before real life need.

Well, the dubs are a 'law unto themselves', so whether international law applied to them or not.....it would not matter to them at all!
It is the Voluntary Slavery of JWs that is sad to see and having been part of that Slavery for nearly forty years, in the past, I can confirm that every single moment spent distributing the Crap Tower was Hell on Earth and equivilant to slavery!
To say that JWs can leave that Slavery at any time is unfair and a misrepresentation, because the chances are they must leave behind family and loved ones and potentially never have contact with them again.....so they must sell their souls to leave the Devil!
It should be illegal.....but I doubt it ever will be!
As for Judge Dread's comment, I think you show more insight on JWs than many who have been part of and left the Org.
A lot of ex JWs have not continued to try to understand the world, the world's real history and society as it truly functions, not just the veneer placed on it by the 'Master's'. Because of this, it is very much like trying to wake a sleep walker, and you are likely to get a punch for your troubles!
A lot of JWs NEED and require to be told what to do, what to think, what to feel as there seem to be some who cannot trust themselves to have their own thoughts, feelings and ideas and the WatcthTower lie is a necessity to them to survive.
I think you know this, Cameo-d! But keep up the good work. Perhaps one day, some more of those who have had the gumption to leave Watchtower land will take a furthur step and really open their eyes!
I remember the shock of finally waking up properly and finding the world is not one jot what I every thought it was when I was asleep.....and now...after several years recovering from that realisation I would honestly say that it is far better to be awake and see the hell the world has been made into, than to blindly walk into the craziness that is the Earth and the human race.
Sometimes, you have to realise that not everyone can cope with reality and they may be better off still sleeping!

In the UK it is FREEZING and a lot of the northern hemisphere is also suffering one of the worst winters for decades.

The Trinity has its roots in Ancient Egypt and Babylon.
We have Horis, Isis and Osiris.
We have Nimrod, Semiramis and TammuZ - Tammuz being the sacrificed son of God on the Cross etc.
This evolved into the Christian doctrine of Trinity as practiced by all religions including the JWs, Jehovah, Jesus and God's Wife like Orgaization as they call themselves.
The religions today are 'children' of the original Mystery Schools. The Mystery schools have never died out and evidence of their continual existence is all around us. They still rule the world.
It is all 'same old, same old'!
