I don't doubt for one moment that women are capable of abuse BUT there ARE more male sexual abusers than female and the prison system and population of the prison system proves that. Therefore your chances of abuse are higher with a male than a female. Therefore NOT absurd......unless you want it to be.
I'd rather trust my child to a woman than a man due to the probablity and chances of risk.

Sorry, but I'm not up with this bit of news in the US, being in the UK.
All I can say is digital reception in the UK is crap at times and also, the buggers seem to be able to just switch your channel and turn your digital on whenever they want to inorder to do updates and things......why can they do that? I now keep my digital switched off at the plug unless in use.

i need to let you know that dad passed away this morning at 8am.
he fought so hard but in the end they could not get his blood pressure to rise and he died of heart failure.

I had wondered recently how Ian was, and have not posted here for a while, so am totally shocked to hear of his moving on to his next great adventure.

There is only one rule to apply when you have children.......trust no one.
A few years, my youngest sister reported that she had been raped at the age of 13 by the older brother of a school friend when she went round to stay there.
She told no one for 6 years.
In that time she has suffered.
But we learnt never ever to trust our children with anyone. They are not permitted to stay at anyone's house unless we are there and our daughter is permitted to play at girl friend's houses ONLY if they have no brothers, their father is not present and we are in constant phone communication.
Trust NO ONE....EVER.
All the children know our reasons and they are growing up aware and stable in the understanding that what happened to their aunt can happen to anyone.
