one of my neighbors who is a jw-lady told me that the co on the last visit said that its very likely that right after armageddon (which is just around the corner) the present governing body members will be in charge of the united states since they are familiar with the culture.

Also most graves face east awaiting our Lords return in the hope of the resurrection.

by zeb inat early dawn on the 25th april 1915, french, british and dominion troops were delivered by small boats to storm the shores of the turkish peninsular with the objective of invading turkey and forcing that country out of the war and causing the end of the great war by many months.. the operation was a complete disaster.
the troops were landed not on the expected flat beaches but up against cliffs.
the turks were prior informed and the invading soldiers were shot to hell.

The Anglican church in Australia has female bishops and priests. My former church the SDA church is now having problems because some parts of the world will ordain female ministers but more conservative areas such as Africa will not. The general conference of SDAs is more conservative but individual conferences do ordain women and there has been some awkward moments in Australia when one women was ordained with two men and the general conference president officiated. American Sniper - courage or cowardice?
by Simon inthe movie american sniper is breaking box office records and of course there is some irony that a movie about a sniper is released on martin luther king day (who was shot by one).. but of course there is a world of difference between an assassin and a military sniper ... or is there?.
some are making a big stink about it and claiming that "snipers are cowards".

'more information has just come out about the events that ended the seige in Martin Place.
It is reported the gunman Man Haron Monis when he beleived he was losing control of the situation aimed his sawn off shotgun at the head of Tori Johnson at point blank range and pulled the trigger.
The reaction of the police was commenced when a police sniper announced 'window two hostage down".

Im Australian and I don't support Illridewithyou rubbish.
This cause assumes Australians are Islamophobic when Australians should be comforting the familys that have lost loved ones. Australians are not Islamaphobic. Muslims in Australia are treated like everyone else here and American Muslims that visit here are amased how much support muslims get and have sited Government funding for Islamic schools as an example.
