  How big is Bethel in New York?

  just asking out of curiosity... i always heard about it through the wbts publications so i assume what they were saying wasn't exactly like the real thing.

  i remember how it was supposed to be a perfect place to work and everything was supposed to be in harmony with each others.

  i even dreamed of going to that place, when i was young.

  The WTS's start of the "70 years"

  it is my understanding that the scholars of the wts say that the "70 years" began when the land was "completely depopulated", not when jerusalem was destroyed.. .

  if that is the case, they should have jumped from their 537 bce date back to the removal of inhabitants during nebuchadnezzar's 23rd year, thus making that 607 (or 606) bce.. .

  did russell start the 70 years (and hence his 2520 years) with the destruction of jerusalem or with the depopulation of the land?.

  i am not a jehovah's witness, and until yesturday i never knew the beliefs of your congregation.

  when i did finally read them, i was amazed to discover that most of what the lord has revealed to me as truth, through my prayers and studies, is found in your beliefs.

  and out of all the christian denominations that exist, "most" of your beliefs are according to the word of god, unlike the other churches.. .

  just heard sister g______ is very ill and not looking good at all.

  shes in her 40's and looks like an old lady!

  very tired she can barely manage to work a day or two because she has to...i myself crashed with glanduar fever and was tired for 4 years...still others have developed "pioneer syndrome" tired, always ill with no cure, increased need for sleep.

  Yeah, I went to the south side Allentown hall where two teenage skinheads murdered their JW mom and dad and little brother.

  They rebeled against their parents and JW's. They were only 15 and 17, big for there age though.

  There is a book about it "Blood Crimes".
