  since the media in u.s show nothing about the war in iraq, and bush's administration censor everything that is "bad' for the puplic, here are some shocking photos of how bush is setting free the iraqi people.

  similar view of how watchtower's god will treat everyone who disagrees with them in armageddon.

  Listen to Simon and others TRY and weasel out of every nook and crannie they are now stuck in for supporting Saddam Huseein, the French, the sad UN, and others.

  I'm sure there are pictures of mutilated American soldiers somewhere. The fact is in WAR people DIE. NO duh! The whole thing is sad, but not as sad as supporting an evil dictator and making excuses for not doing the inevitable, the only thing that could have freed the iraqi people, squashed terrorist training centers in Iraq, and found WMD. And thats war folks, take it or leave it. The only thing that works.

  You guys are still trying to make excuses...JEEZ, you lost the argument, ok? Turn on CNN and see the dancing Iraqis for yourselves. If anybody should be pissed, it's them. I'm sure there are plenty of families in Iraq mourning the loss of their loved ones, just as they're are those in the US doing the same. But it was nescessary, sorry, this is how the world works.

  Be thankful you didn't have to sacrifice anything.

  i've just seen the al-jazeera footage.

  its truly shocking.

  there were about 6-7 us soldiers.

  I've seen film of Iraqi dead shown on the BBC (one still holding a white flag which surprisingly was not picked up on). I'm sure this is just as harrowing and unpleasant to the families of Iraqi's that have possibly been conscripted.

  Simon, have you not read about the 10 marines killed in a battle that was started when supposedly "surrendering" Iraqi soldiers opened fire on them?

  Apparently this is becoming too common.

  in 1991 iraq signed a cease-fire agreement that basically said in agreeing to all it's requirements us promised to stop blowing the crap out of retreating iraqi units.

  well simon, some people who object to the facts are "weak minded". That's the reality. It's not a weak argument. It's simply reality.

  "Do as we say or we'll do it anyway" ....obviously thats the only way to get people's attention. That kind of conversation did get inspectors back into Iraq after 4 years, did it not?

  I think I got simon on this one....

  When 1441 was passed, it was clearly not a mandate for war. This is why the US and UK were going for the second resolution. Why would they do that if they didn't need to?!

  Well Simon, it's like this simply put:

  To appease weak minded people who don't have the guts to deal with the situation rationaly and decisively. We tried bringing an international consensus, but the fact is people are to blinded by fear to deal with the reality of what has to be done.

  Colin Powell should be given a medal for putting up with that circus known as the UN. He did a great job. But as you can see, people are much more willing to appease a dictator than face the reality of enforcing their own resolutions.

  wow simon funny how you left out the UN arms inspectors in that comment. Any replies on that?

  so hmmm....the Americans and UK just love randomly blowing up stuff in the desert. I suppose if I was flying in a supposedly safe no-fly zone, and someone decided to SHOOT at me, I'd perhaps bomb a ground target.

  And just what are those ground targets anyway? hmmm? hospitals? day-cares? how about mobile anti aircraft systems....that's more likely.

  remember Simon, the Iraqi's LOST, which means they don't get to decide who flys over their country or doesn't. They signed the paper-work.

  You make it sound like the UK and US bomb stuff for the fun of it. In either case, if they are being fired on, they have EVERY right to.

  that's what happens when you lose a war, you lose.

  Submitting to UN weapons inspections and disarming themselves of WMD

  Allowing No-Fly zones (which means not shooting at them)

  maybe some other stuff i cant remember...

  So, in theory, since a cease-fire aggreement is NOT an official armstinance, which is a formal end to war, but merely a cessation of hostilities as long as certain requirements are met, then in theory, when the UN inspectors were forced to leave in 1998 and since the first time a US aircraft was shot at in the no-fly zone, then the Iraqis have been in Violation of this LEGAL aggreement and therefore subject to military strikes...Basically, Clinton's impotent strike in 1998 was the first salvo and now we are in the endgame....So, because the iraqis have violated the cease fire aggreement, then we have the legal right to re-engage in hostilities...

  hmmmm....am I brilliant, or have I missed something?

  those that had animalistic qualities have become sheep.

  those that had violent tempers learned real self-control.if you're not a "believer" anymore, have you ever wanted to just smack a person because they irritated you?.....there is one co that i wouldn't mind whacking, still, after all these years.
