Hypnotherapy, Anyone?
by Princess Daisy Boo inhas anyone been to see a hypnotherapist to deal with issues or bad habits?
what did you go for and what was it like - and are you any better as a result?.
i have been reading up on hypnotherapy for weight loss and i am curious!.

I tried it............it didnt work. Maybe it was the therapist or maybe it was me.
I did get a tape that you need to play over and over again..............it has subliminal messages on it. That didnt seem to work either. I just want to loose 10lb but cant I ? nope

we had our non witness family to stay over the holidays and my (reckless) husband took photos from my sisters new camera with our lovely , big xmas tree in the background.
she went home was showing my other jw sister (she didnt know it was there cant work the camera yet), and there it was.

Im not going to bring it up............Im just going to be more loving, more supportive and try and prove family is more important than this s````t, dont know what else to do!
She knows we dont go anymore but we havent "done anything wrong" so it didnt matter. But now we have....... "consciences" sets in and shes got a big one............shes not hard line but a victim. She is stuck in it and im sure she wants out but is trapped by circumstances.
I just hope they dont give a talk on telling for the good of the sinner. She may feel she needs to for our sake.

I think my hubby did it on purpose, he is so cheesed off with it all but im worried. Oh i wish this nightmare of the twilight zone was over !!!!!
I just want to say to them" If you want to do this religion , do it but I dont".........................but the consequences are too huge !!
To think my whole family could never speak to me again because of a tree with lights...........madness

Honestly, Did You "Care" So Much About The "Friends"?
by minimus inthere are a lot of people who have complained of "no love" in their congregations.
i'm wondering if they gave of themselves, in reality, if they look back.
as an elder, i tried to "be there" when someone was in need but i must admit that i didn't always want to have to listen to a person's problems or a families' issues or some of the most ridiculous complaints, you could imagine.. were you really there for your brothers and sisters?

I tried to be hospitable but in the end I felt used. In the hall everyone is too busy to help and its always left to a few charitable souls.
To be honest I didnt want or need help or "love" and as im a anti social person it was hard for me to interact on a regular basis . Three times a week meeting with people was enough !!
I had my friends...............but kept them at a distance................im like that now..........I never complained about the lack of love, but saw it when I left

Need Some Advice on MIL JW

september of 2004 i meet my now husband.
while we were dating he told me that he wanted nothing to do with his family because they were jw's and he was disfellowshipped because of them and his now ex-fiancee.
