I was wondering if this is acceptable for most elders, and if so then I think more faders could use it without being threatened with DF or being labeled apostate and shunned. Surely they cannot DF you for losing your faith?

Fear is a strong reason, but also if you have invested so much of your life and maybe your childrens, how can you now turn around and say " I dont want this anymore".
If there were no conseqences, like losing family and friends thousands would leave

Meditation, letting the demons in
by free2beme ini remember asking an elder once, "what do you think about meditation?
" he responded that we should not relax and open our minds, as opening our minds can let demons in.
i thought that seemed like a odd response, and looked it up in the watchtower, and sure enough he gave the societies views on meditation.

JWD outage -- what if it were longer or worse, permanent?

Think of all those peeps still stuck in the org, not having an inkling about the truth, I know there are other excellent sites like freeminds but this has got to be the best communication forum in the WORLD .......................now that is quite amazing

I think I'm screwing myself
by nonamegiven inget your mind out of the gutter, not screwing myself that way haha.. for those that don't know, i'm df'd, trying to get reinstated so i can get family/friends back in my life than fade away faster than the only good radio station you can tune in on a long road trip.
basically, i can't keep my mouth shut.

If you can take the emotional stress of taking them to court I would press charges, if only for the reason was to show them that the elders cant "fix" things in the org and never should if its a criminal act.
Can you imagine the story in the press...................Id make sure they knew about it

I thought it was excellent and you brought out some good points.
I also watched a couple of other videos, one by scooterUK , and another by CNN interviewing Bill Bowen and a couple of abuse victims. Its was very good
What really amazed me was the comments made after the videos..................unbelieveable
