  Need help disproving 607BCE

  i hope i am posting in the right board.. anyway, i am newly out of the org, and have a dear friend who i've been speaking to all along about my thought process/decisions.

  she has been hesitantly receptive (how's that for confusing?!

  lol) and when i brought up 607bce to her yesterday, she was truly intrigued and had not heard of this as a false date before.. she is still half in/half out, so i know she isn't going to do a lot of naughty independent research on her own.

  "scholar's" only argument is that if you add 70 to the start year you get 607...

  It's been shown again and again and again that the 70 years didn't apply to the israelites, had nothing to do with them and very very simple math will show that he's wrong about 607. The society is going to drop 1914 and 607 before scholar does.

  However, all you really have to do is add up the kings or look at the MOUNTAINS of evidence to see that the 607 date is full of crap.

  Oh and the other one is to look at old literature and see what they predicted would happen. They NEVER said anything about WW1 they made a bunch of nonsense predictions about the end of the world. They went back years later and said "see see we predicted that."

  Saying 'take charge and reproduce' is a prophecy? Wow thats not stretch at all is it?

  Ok here you go, there will be wars in the future! At some point there will be a leader in the world named 'Gary.' Politicians will continue to be corrupt. People will have SEX! Gays will get the right to marry at some point...

  We can gussy those 'prophecies' up with all the flowery language we want doesn't change the fact that they are stupid...

  Or the therapist could see the subject and simply deem them as no threat whatsoever and this is a creative outlet.

  But that IS what happened, read it again, a therapist interviewed him and said he presented no threat to the community.
