Are there ANY Bible prophecies that indisputably came true?

I mean a prophecy made before the event, with specific detail that can be verified in history books. Nothing vague like 'reports of wars'.

Prophecies can only be verified AFTER the events and then, one can make a prophecy seem to mean whatever they want it.

But, Jesus did prophecize the fall of Jreusalem and that some of the apostles would still be alive to see it.

    This one:

    Genesis 1:28 God blessed them:
"Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!
Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air,
for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth. MSG

We're fulfilling this prophecy right now.

    Your assumptions are:

    1) Jesus really said what the gospel writers wrote that he said

    2) The Gospels were written prior to 70 CE

Many Bible scholars dispute those assumptions.

    Sorry Sylvia...

That "prophecy" is disputable as you can't prove that God actually said that (or that there is a God to say it).

There are hundreds. In-fact, more prophecies more prophecies have come to pass than we are waiting for.

Anyhow, here's a couple to start with. You won't hear about them in WT land because they want to deceive you with their "spiritual Israel" doctrines.

    Ezekiel 11:17 (New International Version)

17 "Therefore say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.'

    Isaiah 66:8 (New International Version)

8 Who has ever heard of such a thing?
Who has ever seen such things?
Can a country be born in a day
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.

    Here's the coming to pass

In November 1947 the United Nations decided on partition of Palestine into a Jewish state, an Arab state, and a UN-administered Jerusalem. [15] Partition was accepted by Zionist leaders but rejected by Arab leaders leading to the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine . Israeldeclared independence on May 14, 1948 and neighboring Arab states attacked the next day.

First, nothing is indisputable. Postmodern philosophers will tell you that reality is not real. sigh... People can dispute everything, no matter how outrageous the disputation.

Second, there are many prophecies regarding the Messiah that were fulfilled. "Scholars" used to use the alleged trump card that all the prophecies were added to the Jewish Scriptures (the Old Testament) after Jesus was born to make it look like He was the Messiah. All these "scholars" were shown to be in error when the Qumran caves revealed that all those prophecies were present in the Scriptures when they were sealed into the caves at about 125 BC. One cannot edit scrolls in 80 AD that were already sealed and buried in 125 BC.

Such prophecies include the fact that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem (remember, even Herod believed that), He would be born of a virgin, He would be resurrected, etc. Here is a set of passages I wrote down for Inknling on another thread:

Some of the prophecies that are pretty hard to account for except that they show the foreknowledge of God are: 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12, Matthew 26:15-16), bought potter field (Zechariah 11:13, Matthew 27:3-10), Jesus spit upon (Isaiah 50:6, Matthew 26:67-68), innocent one wounded for the guilty (Isaiah 53:5, Luke 22:64), Messiah to be executed by crucifixion although Jews executed their own by stoning (Psalm 22:16, Zechariah 12:10, 13:6, John 20:25-29), Messiah executed with criminals (Isaiah 53:9-12, Mark 15:27), Messiah's clothing to be gambled over for ownership (Psalm 22:18, John 19:23-24).

Finally, the book of Daniel named the names of kings, including Alexander the Great. Josephus (Anitquities 11:8.5) tells us that Alexander gave the Jews special favors in his kingdom because his name was in the book of Daniel in a favorable manner.

    Blessings.
