hello everybody...my daughter (in-law), whyamihere/brooke, has been at the hospital all day with her little boy, 1 yr. 4 months old...who has had such a bad case of the flu that they had to hook him up to an iv for fluid.
he was sick all last week and then was getting better...then took a turn for the worse yesterday.
can't keep anything down.

I remember taking my son in a few times in the midle of the night because he was dehydrated and needed IV's. They do wonders so hopefully he will be fine. In my son's case he kept getting weird "viruses" and eventually the causes of the low immune system were found. Hang in there and get rest when you can yourselves...
well, it has been almost three years since i silently and dramatically vanished from the world of the watchtower.
moving an hour away from my congregation's territory and not answering phone calls was all i needed to avoid having to wear the letter "a" on my chest.
but, that could all change this saturday.

I think your' comments have merit Mouthy and believe me I thought about doing just that but, the truth is, I already have done that in the past. Also, I have known my parents my whole life and know very well where they stand on this issue. I don't believe they will ever change. They have shunned their own father, brothers, sisters, and now son and daughter. Some for over 20 years. I felt the only thing I could do was protect myself.
I thought about telling my folks about all the family I have here at JWD but somehow I didn't think they would understand. But I know you are! Thanks again!

Therefore I was shocked to see a card there in my box from my parents with my mom's handwriting on it. It was a letter expalining they loved me and wanted me back in the family but of course there were strings. I must first humble myself and repent truly and Jehovah would be a merciful and forgiving God. I thought for awhile as to how to respond and finally today sent a simple e-mail back saying I regarded their' card as spiritual and emotional abuse. That my family left me and I have no family. Please stop harrassing me and leave me in peace. We will see what happens.

i remember being told if you partake of the emblems and not be of the anointed the bad things will happen you or at the very least christ will be real made at you.
i have always believed the witness's to be presumptuous on their part of this issue to make such a statement, who are they to say who should and who should not.
