  How Much $$$ Did You Contribute To The Organization?

  i know of some elders that regularly gave about $500 per month towards the kingdom hall and other watchtower society interests....and you???

  This is a good subject because:

  We gave money, ... my car was always out in the ministry, miles, gas, slam my doors so hard I thought they ended up on the other side.

  I had station wagons, took familys out .. packed the kids in the back. We would stop for treats I'd buy coffee, .. sweet rolls.. etc.

  Time, all the time we gave, I wish I had a little back. Its not just the money given....its the money $pent. Hotels, .. meals, assemblies.

  this morning my doorbell rang, and i usually never answer my door unless i know someone is coming, because this is thick jw territory, but i did, and low and behold, its a lone jw.

  he was working on the construction site across the street and was trying to locate the owners of a cat he kept seeing.

  he didn't recognize me at first, he was looking at my halloween decorations, and then back at me like he knew something was off...so finally, he asked my name.

  hello everyone.. i'm an "active" jw and have been for...13 years but my faith in the jw org died about 5 years ago.. so, i've been doing the jw thing for 5 years now without believing in it.

  i might be an ms soon, unfortunately.. i tried telling my parents about it but they said apostates are good with twisting words and whatnot.. they wouldn't even let me show them evidence of wt hypocrisy; however, my mother did say she found it odd that every once in a while, there's that publisher resolution of donating a certain amount a year.

  there might be hope for her yet.

  we have our co visit this week.

  you should see all the dubs appearing from nowhere, it's like jesus has come to visit.. .

  last week we had about 75 in attendance at our tms/service meeting.
