Hmmmm. I don't know. I think I could vote either way. How about if you go to the talk and leave before the Watchtower study? Can you actually listen without making gagging noises? Cause that wouldn't be very good support.
There would be absolutely nothing that could get me to go to another JW meeting.

Yes, I have read it cover to cover. The NT and parts of the OT many more times and in lots of different translations. (I think I wound up collecting about a dozen different translations) That's what lead to being an exJW. Now I have no desire to read it.

Undisclosed Revelation Book Changes show "Jehovah" is "The Lamb"
by AlphaOmega inas we all know, in 2006 there were some undisclosed changes to the 1988 revelation climax book.. these scans of page 127 (chapter 20) are identical except for the alteration from "the lamb" to "jehovah".. http://i15.tinypic.com/2qvzgya.jpg.
http://i17.tinypic.com/2nukpd0.jpg.
since this change was not listed in the september 2006 kingdom ministry, are we to conclude that it is not "a key change" and the alteration is merely semantics?

First Post
by Rethinking infirst time posting, long time lurking.. came upon this site on accident a few years ago and dismissed it as a site for disgruntled people; however, in the past months i actively searched for it as it stuck in my mind.
believe it or not, i practically read all of the topics.
i felt, wow, i wasn't alone in my thinking and feelings about some things.. it all started years ago in my last year in high school and then into college.

Welcome to JWD, Wormwood. There were some posters here from Halifax. I don't think many of them have been actively posting lately.
Post-traumatic stress sums up postJW life quite well.

Some are. Some aren't. Probably about the same ratio as for men.
