It is drawn when the average witness cannot say in their rational mind I will not do this or that because it is unreasonable and just bothers my god given conscious. When a witness can not or will not have the courage to say NO when situations arise of this nature its then they better back off NOW, and maybe seek professional help. Shane

Do you really hate JWs?..... or is it the WT??

i don't think you can seperate the 2. they are both inseperably joined, infact the wt defines how jws believe.
many here say they don't "hate" jws individually, just the society, ie the wt.. where in your personal opinion is the distinction drawn??

Was anyone an actor in the District Convention Dramas?
by Low-Key Lysmith ini was the "bad association" for the young hero of that riveting tale.
all i could think of was the drama ending, going to lunch and sucking down a couple of muff'n'eggs followed by a danish, washed down with some shasta, and a pudding cup.
i just prayed my mom would rashion me out enough food-tickets to handle the job.

I too was a character on a drama a few times, I was one of the three Hebrews thrown into the fiery furnace once. Also a poor peasant in the reign of king David begging for relief of hardship. My last drama was acting the part of one of princes in the time of David taking our itineraries for visiting the cities and making arrangements for their needs, blah blah blah. What I thought was so stupid was the elder in charge of it all told us we could not wear our beards after the days events, go home with them or other wise I told them to pound sand I was never asked to do dramas again, well stick it in your ear then. I seen the elder in charge of directing the rehearsals begin fighting with one other elder that was in the cast because the other felt that repeating it over and over again into the late night hours was way over board; it almost came to blows. My brother in-law did smack one of the cast memeber for goofing around, it was then I seen that love among the brothers is BS, the old crape about "ahh they are just imperfect should be applied to everyone then. Irish wake?
by PinTail ini am irish and i want an irish wake, dose anyone else desire to go that direction when they hit the big sleep.
at the very lest have my ashes paraded around by my beer drinking karaoke singing friends each with a half pitcher mug of amber bock and hot polish sausages.
i would much rather have this than have a situatioin where if those who loved me or thought i was one hell of a guy feel weird for not being them selfs.

mind games to free yourself of jw fear mentality
by boy@crossroads ini find that to get rid of the jw mentality i have to play mind games on myself as i go throughout my day.
one tactic that i've been using recently involves telling myself "now as i go through this (whatever) situation how would you act if you had never been exposed jehovahs witnesses".
it really is an amazing thing for me b/c after i think about the situation i really do become more comfortable and the true "me" comes out.

Do spiritual ones sit closer to the front?
by JH indf'd ones are asked to sit in the back row at the hall.
although i was never df'd, i always sat in the back because i felt more comfortable back there.
i never did participate much anyways so i sat in the last row or before last.

I sat closer to the front at first when i was really in to it all.
Than later so I could fall asleep and no one could see except for the shmuck rambling on the stage. And what would he do tell my dad who was sleeping too?

As a young kid how did you invision Armagedon?
by PinTail inas a kid i felt that jehovah would bring his big hand down from the sky and slap the hell out of the ground, and if i was under it then it would be real bad.
the fact is i found it hard to camp outside and enjoy looking at the night sky with all of its stars, fearing the big old hand was going to slap the area around me at that very moment and ruin trees shrubs the fish we had caught our tent my dads truck, and us oh man everthing else too.

Well it all happened with this sister feeling my chest while I was at her house while I was setting programming her computer, it had been a while sense my wife had left me and I was as horny as a field mouse, and her husband had died twelve years earlier and I am sure she was hotter than kitten on a hot tin roof.
Well one thing led to this and that, and I just could not resists no more so I felt her knobs, and she went and blabbed to the elders, she did not like them scolding us so she asked me over for dinner to complain about it, so I continued my breast research and examined more thoroughly her knobs. Horrible News!
by KKLUV155 ini just found out today that a lady i had know for several years now had a horrible tragedy happen in her family.
her 8 year old son died yesterday from a gunshot wound to the head.
what i was told is the 8 year old told his older brother he was going out to shoot a rifle and the older brother tried to take the gun from his brother and the gun went off and killed him.

Concerning this same subject in a way, I remember the time I had sex while being married in the basement of this old building I was working in, after it all happend I ran cause I really did think the cement floor would break open and down I would go.
Oh by the way my ex-wife at the time was having woopie with a MS at the time, so I felt it would be just fine if I give in.
