In being honest with ourselves, why WOULD they want to meet with him? No offense to Bill or his efforts, but how would this meeting be productive as he states? I'm sure they are aware of any information he could provide. I guess I'm just curious...if the meeting did happen...what would they talk about? No doubt stuff that both parties already know.

I'm not going to discuss your points or their validity because they are shifting attention away from the topic. Kind of like when you tell a child they shouldn't do something and they try and justify it by saying how so-and-so does it. This thread was about whether or not JW's are more honest than other people, and I called people on the generalizations and exaggerations that were being made. Why bring up the JW's errors in the same area? Does this validate ex-JW's doing it? I don't think so.

No matter how wrong the WT was in that case, it has nothing to do with them being pacifist. Please take another look at the definition. A pacifist could drive a car recklessly, crash and kill his passengers. He would be responsible for their deaths, but it wouldn't change the fact that he was a pacifist. The WT may be guilty of wrongdoing, but it doesn't change that they are a pacifist organization. The reason why pacifism was even brought up was to discuss the likelihood of a majority of JWs going along with the topic of this thread.

Since religion is highly theoretical, I assumed we were referring to informal logic. But you are right, I have very bad retention and could not tell you the rules of formal logic...or paraconsistent logic, or causal logic, or probabilistic logic, or any other logic you can think of. Who says I hate it. The only thing I don't like are simple minded people who insult with no argument to back it. If I call you an imbecile, I am going to explain why you are an imbecile.
