this is kinda where i was going with my question to mini "why do you ask". of course, i wasn't surprised that i didn't get a response, i rarely do. actually feel kinda stupid that i answered to begin with.

i disassociated myself just over 2 years ago.
i grew up in the truth so now i feel a bit lonely and out on a limb with no friends.... feels so strange cos i had so many mates in the truth.
i still believe what jws believe and im not seeking an alternative religion or anything like that.
Lot's of folks from the UK, in fact the site's founder (Simon) is a Brit.

Why do you ask?
simon - many many of us fantasize about being able to talk to friends and relatives still "in" and getting them out.
and / or we fantasize about being able to truly affect the wtbts somehow.
i've noticed that the phrase "...because of this site..." comes up over and over as the reason why someone has left the jw cult.
