Mentally ILL People : Will they be saved ?

for the sake of argument , i will presume that respondents believe in the concept of salvation.. broadly - very broadly - i would put the mentally ill in two categories :.

the retarded and the criminally insane.. an argument is made that the retarded will be saved : http://www.gotquestions.org/mentally-challenged.html.

but this does not , imo , properly address the issue of salvation for the criminally insane.. will they too find salvation - because they do not have the capacity to understand the biblical message (although some may believe they are doing god's will) - or will they be damned - due to their evil actions?.

recently i was reading and writing posts of why lot would offer his daughters to the men of sodom and someone else was asking or commenting on why uzziah was killed for trying to stop the ark of c. from falling.

well, lo and behold, the feb 1st watchtower addresses both of these questions and suggests that we should not be questioning these events as god knows what he's doing?.

are you listening (or reading) gb or gb representatives.

If they are, then they surely are in a precarious position, anyone who spends more than a days energy here should quickly come to the realization that there is something truly amiss in OZ. To deny would be tantamount to spiritual suicide.

on christmas eve i got the chance to get together with an old friend, also an ex-witness, who was visiting from new york.

his life has been something of a hedonic treadmill and only recently has gotten off of it to find, as i like to call him, the sensitive new age jesus.

well, anyway, we got on the subject of sex and relationships.

If your partner is of any redeeming moral character and quality, and it appears that he must be, as most men would jump at the chance to de-flower a true virgin without even a thought, much less a second thought, well she could surely leave herself open to be plucked by someone of a lot less.

Your partner should jump for it. I mean, how often in ones life is anyone going to be in a position to experience a virgin in the first place? Those who do, may not hold in proper esteem the awesomeness of such a moment.

Tell your buddy to drop his drawers, and his high moral reasoning, not that there's anything wrong with that, and jump her bones!!!

Do you still Pray?

since i stopped being a jw i haven't prayed.

so the other day i went to supper at my parent's house who are still jw's, and they prayed before we ate.

it was a very strange feeling, and it stirred up alot of weird feelings.

Life is too complicated to navigate on my own.

I've never ceased to believe in an Allmighty Creator.

The rules and laws that apply to science, give comfort that there has to be an intelligent Creator-Designer. Mankind is just so out of touch with his spirituality, especially modern westernized man, that it can be almost impossible for him to recognize the creator that exist right before one's eyes.

God is much larger than any religion. JW, Islam, Judiaism, Shinto, Buhddism....yadayadayada....they all have aspects and characteristics that would be well incorporated into one's individual life.

Prayer for me, now that I'm out, is more important than when I was in.

There exist something, someone, some entity, life giving power source beyond the fabric of our humaness.

My being involved with the WTBTS will never be reason enough to discount my belief in God. The fact that he has allowed to me see behind and beyond the curtain of those at the helm of the WTBTS, only confirms for me that he must exist.

I was in enormous emotional and mental anguish before coming to the reality of what goes on in OZ, and now, I believe I've been given the gift of freedom, as I am so much more at peace with myself, maybe for the first time in my life. The energy that would twist my life in so many knots, is no more.

Glory to God.

is it just me, or do the illustrations in the watchtower and other related material have an eerie, almost ghostlike appearance?

especially the ones that depict the new system.

the spirit that's reflected in them is of an almost mindless, robotic stepford wives type of mentallity, or maybe irobot, i don't know.

Halle Berry...she has a comfortable approachable beauty,...not so full of herself that she's perfect.

Anita Baker...for her ability to bring me to my knees in her vocal delivery, her beauty not even need be mentioned.

Phyllis Hyman...statuesque, larger than life, eternal beauty.......She will forever be remembered in her glory, age was not something to attach the humility of being human. She is always remembered by me.

A'ight A'ight... Don't anybody get the wrong idea OK.....but the only beautiful man on the planet OK, cause...... if I was his girlfriend........Denzel !!!
