it took me twelve years to find him...
by LuckyNun inwhen i was a teenager, i had it bad for a brother.
it used to kill me, because we liked the same stuff, but he was on the spiritual track, headed for bethel, and i refused to get baptized.
we used to argue while we were out in service, and we had a real love/hate relationship.

Fathful Slave Class...Commisssioned????
by integ ini heard in a talk recently that the faithful slave class was "commissioned" by jehovah to give us our food at the proper time.
my question is; where does it say that in the bible?
i am aware of the obscure reference to this "class" in matthew, but is there anywhere in the bible that actually says they were/are commissioned?

SOSC 125 (The Lucky Nun Returns)
by LuckyNun ini have chosen to study children (now adults) of jehovah's witnesses for my anthropology class.
it's a subject near and dear to my heart, as most of you know if you read my livejournal.. .
i would like to investigate how children who are raised in the jehovah's witness religion deal with loss of a support network if they leave.

Kingdom Ministry....."What will you do with your free time?"
by integ in1) with summer just ahead, what plans have you made to increase your share in praising jehovah?
family heads who are entrusted with their families spiritual welfare, will do well to encourage their mates, and children to make the most of any extra time they may have away from the workplace.
by increasing their share in the ministry.

Do hours in preaching affect social status?
by new light indeep down, i guess i know the answer to this one, but what the heck?
is it common for someone to have a diminished jw social life for no other reason than being a low-hour publisher?
not to seem conceited, but at the hall i was always smiling and quick-witted (i believe), talked to all types happily, gave good talks and demos, dressed well, smelled good, etc.
